Wait, I thought Democrats said tax cuts were bad and that millions of people were going to die because of it?

Ahhh, so her plan is to effectively kill the middle class by taxing them more to give the lower class a tax break.

So they won't have to lie to get thousands back in tax refunds?

That’s pretty close to how it works, ask the “too big to fail banks” they can tell you exactly how it works.

I would be too.

But, both of us know that's not how it would work.

Agreed but it won’t.

That’s why I’m so vehemently against UBI. I think they would/could get it through by replacing entitlement program but within 20 years they’d all be back stronger than ever.

Didn’t the GOP support an expanded child tax credit just last year?

Is it only bad when “they” do it?

Is this board a support group?

People making less than 100K?

Of course. Please tell me you're joking. That's most families.

The more money you make, the more your refund is? Why does Harris hate poor people? Why isn't she making the rich pay their fair share?

One is individuals making $50k or less, the other is families making $100k or less.

I could see a positive to this actually

If you're a family with 2 incomes that come out to about 130K with neither being over 100K this might be enough for some people to allow one parent to stay at home. It's almost subtle support for the nuclear family which I think could have a positive impact on society. There is nothing wrong with being a stay at home mom and this makes that more possible.
