Thanks for excusing my ignorance. And for being so polite in doing so. I acknowledge your position, but decline to agree, as everyone knows where each of us fits on the food chain.

**And no, you were the polar opposite of polite until I called you out on it.

Conflating Israelis with Jews is just lazy and stupid

No it’s not. Israel is about 80% Jewish, and Jews who live outside of Israel mostly support them. Don’t let a few American and European Jews, who object to Israeli policy, fool you.

I don’t mean this as anti-Jewish; generally I support Israel, although they are definitely carrying this Gaza business too far to be blamed on October 7th.

When we post online we stereotype even more than when we speak; this is due to typing being more difficult than talking. But even when we talk we speak of the Mongols, the Germans, and the Romans without stopping to clarify that all Mongols did not ride with Genghis, that Hitler was strongly opposed politically, and that Romans fought civil wars.

Interesting. This has nothing to do with Hamas or Gaza, this is related to the West Bank and a Christian village

I own the bad on that one, Josh, in regard to a quick perusal and assuming that the attacks were just more of the Hamas v Jews war. My eyes were fading and I crashed not long after.

Mud's post re the Zionist interest me, as I don't know a lot about the 'Zionist' movement, or that it's theological base is supposedly as antagonistic towards Christians as Islamists are the Jews. If such be the case, and given a Christian bias from my viewpoint, they are toast if that is true. Albeit I doubt such as the Christian (Evangelical at the fore) respect for "God's Chosen" seems to not be unsympathetic re the Jewish People. Zionist, whatever they are, nws. And it seems, given people like Glenn Beck and great media power, that if 'Zionist' indeed believe in murdering Christians, they would be dropped like a hot potato. It is only by the will of Christians that the Jewish Nation exists. Alone, they are done. Minus God's intervention of course.

I hear that there are rumblings of the 'Third Temple' being built, and having seen the ruthless and efficient action of IDF, I am surprised that when Iran launched that wave of ballistic missiles that Mossad didn't sneak a rogue one in there to take out that blasphemous Mosque on top of the Temple Hill. Too risky I suppose.

Again, apologies for the whoopsie.

Yep. American Jews don't give one shite about Israel. Bolshevism is their religion.

If it wasn't for the conservative Christian Right in this country, Israel would have folded long ago.

So Palestinians have learned from their great American unsung hero Jussie Smollette on how to make friends and be loved?

Likely fake news. Virtually all Christian Arabs are now Israeli citizens (as an aside, a large percentage of Israeli Jews are ethnically Arab, a point the left likes to ignore). The number of Christian Palestinians (those who refuse Israeli citizenship) in the West Bank is near zero.

I mean, look at the name of the dude who posted this on X.

Not true at all- Ramallah still has a sizable Christian population. Ramallah is the most affluent town in the West Bank, home to the Palestinian Authority HQ's, Hospitals the University etc... Since Christians comprise the upper echelon of Palestinian (and most Arab socio-economic demographics throughout the Levant), they are mostly clustered around Ramallah.

These are some of the most ancient Christians, whose descendants converted via the Apostles.

They must be protected.

Lets not forget that the Holy Land belongs to Christendom

The hard Left, anti-Semitic Jew haters and Islamist Jihadists are the only ones who still give a crap about the *Palestinians*. Those people went to hell with their hatred and it will take a new generation raised outside of their Jihadist culture to make them civilized people again.

They should have listened to Jesus instead of Muhammad. “Live by the sword, die by the sword “.

I tend to believe this is all propaganda.

On r/soccer they have a big post about Israel killing a 15 year old soccer player.

But why does it matter he plays soccer? Oh that’s right, it’s targeted propaganda to get soccer fans all upset.

Just like people bringing the propaganda of attacking Christians to this site.

Not sure why you leave out Egypt and also Syria was 10% Christian pre-civil war.

That’s a wild claim. You can’t actually be saying that Arabs who practice Christianity are the “upper echelon” of countries, all of which are Muslim Theocracies, and all of which require the practice of Islam to gain any position of power within their governmental or industrial hierarchy.

The only country in the Levant with a large Christian population, and also the only one which is not Arab, is Lebanon. I’ll also add that Lebanon’s Christians are highly pro-Israel, and Israel has historically sought to empower them within Lebanon.

Syria’s Maronite population is like 2% of it’s total. The West Bank’s population is under 1% of the total.

Its not a claim- its a fact.

Syria (prior to the toppling of the Assad regime) was not a Theorcracy.

Jordan is not a theocracy

Lebanon has as many Christians as Muslims

Egypt has over 10 million Christians- not a theocracy

Throughout the Levant Christians by and large occupy the highest socio-economic strata.

You literally have no idea what you are talking about as you are conflating the Gulf States, which in fact are theocracies, with the Levant, which has always had (even since the Islamic conquest) a sizable Christian population, until the emergence of Israel.

Lebanese are not Arab, genetically they are descended from ancient Greeks and Phoenicians...basically the ethnic make up of ancient Anatolia

Even if it's 100% Jewish all Jews in Israel do not agree with Bibi.

Do you not realize the biggest criticisms against the current actions in that region are coming from Jews? The biggest supporters are of course Bibi and Christian Zionists.

You lack nuance and overall intelligence

Fundamentalist Islam, practiced by ISIL and exported to Sub-Saharan Africa is influenced by Wahhabism.

Wahhabism sprouted in Saudi Arabia which has been overwhelmingly Islamic since the time of Mohammed.

Saudi Arabia is not in the Levant

The Levant has always had a sizable Christian Minority even after the Crusades.

Historically, the Muslims of the Levant borrowed alot of Christian (and by Christian I mean catholic/orthodox) elements, such as veneration of Mary and other Saints i.e. St George (who is buried in Palestine). Throughout Palestine, Lebanon, Syria , Jordan you will find shrines to these saints that are venerated by both Christians and Muslims I.E. a woman who needs help conceiving may go and act for the Virgin's intercession etc

These are ancient practices going back over 1,000 years that underscore the harmonious co-existence of Christians and Muslims in this specific region.

The sectarian strife is a recent phenomenon that has been exacerbated by Israel

Bro, "Arab" is a cultural-linguistic designation. There are black Arabs and Arabs with pale skin and blue eyes. Lebanon is most definitely an Arab country.
