Supposedly the Trump admin (including Rubio) is pissed at Israel over pre-war Intel. This was in a NYT report last night.

That's......convenient.

But what do we do if the SOH remains closed and we're even less involved? How will that work? If we couldn't open the SOH, Israel certainly can't.

Don't ask questions

Judging strictly by everything that has happened since last night it doesn’t really seem like anyone was consulted, it appears as though Pakistan made their proposal which Trump just took and announced as a “deal”

I didn’t and don’t support the war itself, so I’m certainly not hoping against an end to it.

But the course of the whole thing has been incredibly predictable so far, don’t see that changing.

I think we are done for now unless they don't reopen the SoH

They may have already closed it again since the Jews continued to hit Lebanon.

At the risk of sounding anti-Semitic I'll go ahead and say it:

The Jews here in the US work to destroy our nation by voting Democrat in order to enrich themselves at the expense of the American tax payer while providing nothing of benefit to the United States in return.

The State of Israel works hard to destroy the US by enticing the US to take the lead role in fighting their infernal and eternal wars against their neighbors while they enrich themselves at the expense of the American taxpayer while providing nothing of benefit to the United States in return.

In both instances they are moochers and a net loss to the United States insofar as being an asset in any way, shape, or form.

As always, the extremes on the issue are wrong and it's somewhere in the middle.

Trump isn't "owned" by the "Jews"/Israel, but he clearly treated them specially and in ways we would never treat other countries (even our allies). This led to us following their lead which was deceptive and involved bad intel exchanged before the war. So there was clearly some influence, but not "ownership."

The strait is already open and though traffic is light, ships are passing through.

But you were always going to say it was not a success no matter what happened.

SFP is just salty that he didn’t get muh quagmire, so he’s pivoting to anything else that will allow him to call it a fail.

Pakistan didn't draft that proposal. The tweet edit is hilarious.

Incorrect. I said many times a long time ago I'd gladly take the small L to avoid that big L. This is definitely my preferred outcome once the war was started.

Then let them bomb Iran. Not our job to be their rent-a-cop.

This is your preferred outcome. Your predicted outcome was muh quagmire.

I said that only if regime change was a goal.

We did not achieve regime change and gave that up a while back.

Wouldn't this imply that they view Trump as working for them, that they are upset he bypassed them, and that they are unhappy about it? Why would anyone be upset or feel this way if they knew they never had any say to begin with?

The ceasefire is such bullshite, what if an Iranian still chants "Death to America"???????

Are our feelings strong enough to withstand that without bombing them????
