Maybe so, but he absolutely suppressed religious freedom and freedom of speech (though those aren't necessarily protected in Ukraine).

You and I both know it is not possible to carry out safe elections in the middle of this massive conflict. Polling stations would become targets for Russian missiles and Putin would do everything he possibly could to frick with the legitimacy of the results. Can you imagine attempting to carry out voting stations in the Donbas at the moment

So if America decides to prohibit everyone but Lutheran from practicing their religion, that is ok because America did not prohibit Christians from practicing their religion?

I think the important thing about elections is you have to figure out EXACTLY what your country IS and where the boundaries are. THAT is why Trump is saying that an election must take place. Because it will force Ukraine to decide who they want to include and what territories they want to exclude, thereby drawing the lines for the ceasefire or peace.

Who woulda thunk a failed comedian with no experience in anything government. Would not be the Abraham Lincoln of the 21st century of the world, but more akin to an African leader we decided to prop up. Atleast in South America, Africa, and at times in Asia. The ones we propped up, were cheaper, and just stayed quiet and content milking us and not getting overthrown.

He was democratically elected and he’s abiding by the will of his people and his nation’s Constitution. The Russian talking points in here are weird. Forcing a nation to have an election while they’re being bombed is idiotic.

If Lutheran Church had called the attack on Pearl Harbor and the invasion of Europe by German “holy wars” and propagates the notion that the entire territory of United State"must be brought under the Axis powers sphere of influence alone
