Desires and actual outcomes are a different story

I don't trust Trump to reorganize the entire world order and you'd be crazy to trust him with that

I’m not sure if what he is doing will work or not. Hell, I’m not even sure what he wants or is expecting as an outcome.

All that said, he has surrounded himself with a bunch of financial and business experts. When those guys start panicking and publicly jump ship, that’s when I’ll worry. Until then I’ll give the Trump team the benefit of the doubt that they know more about what going to happen than some internet pundits, news casters with TDS, and a bunch of investors who panic at any uncertainty.

TRUMP knows what he is doing......free trade, small government, and big business = a great sustainable economy
free trade?

i swear you people are completely clueless. free trade is what he is countering with tariffs. big business bought free trade to avoid labor costs.

99% of you need to shut up and put your heads down and ignore everything bc you are so lost.

Following the chaos of 2020, the Biden years will be looked at as a golden age. I get that during a period of hyper affluence certain people felt left behind, but the economic bar was raised significantly.
I guess a lot of those people who felt like the class below them caught up are hoping Trump will put the poor back in their place. The thing is everything that is happening now is gonna put the middle class back down in their place.

Wow, just wow? I suggest that you and the 4 people who up voted your post please not procreate. It is obvious you lack any intellect and would negatively impact the collective gene pool.

Why does anyone think he’s a successful economic analyst or big picture business man?? He’s a grifter and has always been. Nothing but failure

Is Trump trying to Crash the Economy...

You'll just have to wait and see what happens. For no small percentage of folks here if the economy crashes then of course he meant to do it. There's already some bizarro claim that he's "flushing out" the bad guys in the market.

But if it rebounds quickly then that was the strategy all along. Stock market goes up - good, stock market goes down - good. Prices go up - good, prices go down - good. More taxes - good, fewer taxes - good.

It's an easy formula once you figure it out.

True, Bb but only to the degree that said stupidity becomes a democratic liability. This is why the Founders both loathed and feared Democracy and limited it via the Constitutional Republic. Of the which the Left despises. Straight up Cold War.

Is that why inflation took off because the economy was doing so great?

You are right. Inflation rose to 9.1% under Biden, moderately due to COVID, supply chain factors, and international turmoil (Russia/Ukraine war, gas, oil profiteering). That was not at all good, and his policies were clearly to blame. In particular, throwing $2 trillion into the American Rescue Plan and creating unrealistic consumer demand spiked inflation.

Nevertheless, key economic and employment indicators remained strong throughout his administration. By the time Biden left office, inflation had cooled to just under 3%.
