Democrats have no respect for life and it won't be long before they seek to euthanize people for wrong think.

I never thought I would be radicalized over a squirrel but here we are.

They are seeking it now. They just aren't getting to do it yet.

Squirrels used to be hugely popular as pets. Like more people had pet squirrels than dogs.

Dems are the party of law and order...if you have a cherished outlawed pet. Illegal immigrants, theft and violence on the street is ok

Read about this earlier. Absolutely fricking wild that of all the horse shite happening in New York they had to go upstate and raid someone's house to kill a pet squirrel. frick everything about them.

Media Matters would definitely do it to anyone that votes for Trump.

Seriously? When are we talking about?

So the idea is that you'd have a dog or two that you would keep outside for protection, but you'd have a fricking pet squirrel inside?! Surely that can't be right.

Def sorry for this fiasco with Peanut in any event. That's messed up.

It was the 1700's and into the 1800's. I think it was mostly city people that didn't have dogs would have a squirrel in a cage in the house.

More recently, I guess in the 50's, you could order them from ads in magazines and have a squirrel mailed to you.

So - what was the violation of law that allowed this to be OK?

is their an ordinance about what kind of animal can be held as a pet? - and what does the law say about how to 'remove' that 'illegal' pet?

I hear about people keeping boa constrictors - are they OK, but squirrels not??

SNAFU.

Most will find themselves in hell one day. Justice will be served on God’s time. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see it happen.

Guess I need to hide "TaTa", (my little squirrel buddy).

Ate a lot of squirrels in my day, including squirrel brain in scrambled eggs. Tastes like sweet liver.

They are fun little animals. He stays on my big, screened in, front porch with a doggie door, that he uses to come and go as he pleases. He is getting old now and stays in the hanging backpack he uses to sleep in. He does still freak some people out when he leaps on them unexpectantly.

Hilarity ensues.

frick those jack-booted fricks for taking Peanut away.

"FWEEDOM" MY arse!

According to this story (and I am not vouching for it one way or the other), the squirrel bit somebody and a rabies test was ordered.

Make of it what you will, but I rail against outrage porn using incomplete information, regardless of whether I like the story or not.
