I seriously contend that they faked a dossier (which is not oppo research, if its faked. You get that right?), and then worked thru foreign operatives (ex MI6 agents) to funnel that faked data to the FBI as a criminal referral. And got John McCain to do the dirty deed

Either way, ;egal or not, they should never again have a security clearance, if thats how they fake and/or mishandle security data

Just take the "L" and move on

What information was the result of that research? And based on that information, what action was taken?

I don't know if this scenario is illegal, but your take on this only proves you are a horrible human being.

Link?

I am not going to call you "disingenuous," because I honestly have no idea WTF you are, but this post IS typical of the tendency of MANY posters to just attribute every possible negative attribute to any other poster whose opinions they do not like.

Sadly, it is not.

Well.. sadly the currently very concerned individuals lost all credibility to be taken seriously when they claim to be currently appalled.

If one keeps their mouth shut about, or even cheers on, the initial actions. Do the same for the reaction. If it was good then…. It’s good now.

They should be indicted for procuring and distributing the false Trump dossier. Or at least sued out of existence for defamation.

And at a minimum, why does a private law firm have security clearance? frick that.

They conspired with foreign powers to overthrow a duly elected American President. There's a word for that.

As I recall (and I have not re-confirmed), the FIRM does not have security clearance, a number of lawyers within the firm have various levels of security clearance ... just like many, many thousands of other Americans not employed by the government.

The following chart is a bit dated, but it is illustrative of "who holds security clearance"

This.

It's fricking mind-boggling how much this happens. It's like they're scared to have an actual, adult, conversation on specific issues.

Retaliation against what, exactly?

Who did something to Trump that's worth retaliating against?

If your poor, smooth liberal brain doesn't see half the reason the illegitimate Biden DOJ went after Trump in the all-out lawfare retardation that it did from 2022-2024 as narrative cover for the pursuit of legitimate justice for crimes committed by the same Dramatis Personae, then you're clearly not tall enough to ride.
