There's a very small part of the chest wherein blunt trauma can cause instant death I recall from med school a few examples where car accidents that seemed minor caused death in healthy individuals.

Basically the heart rhythm is disrupted in a way that it cannot recover without CPR.

“It” in the “it looked exactly like” was the way he fell to the ground, not a hit from a routine football play.

nothing we've ever seen before on an NFL field

I wonder what is different in the NFL this year unlike previous seasons?

First of all, I’m praying for this young man regardless of the cause.

That said, people better talk about the possible causes of this if it is not definitely determined.

ETA: I personally think it was the hit to his chest UNRELATED to the vaccine. If so, that should be determined.

As soon as I saw this, I figured the anti vax tards would be all over it. Sure enough, here we are.

So you had the same thoughts.

It could be a broken rib puncturing lung or heart.

It’s plausible I would think taking a shot to the chest and having a pulmonary embolism wouldn’t be a good thing

When I was a kid (7 or 8) one of my friends big brother died on the little league baseball field at age 10 from a fly ball that hit him directly in the chest.

Yep. I'm too many beers deep and too far removed from medical training to remember the details but it's common in younger men in sports

Vax casualty....uhh...no! The hit to his chest/sternum area probably caused some trauma to the heart, aorta, or some other vascular damage. I'm a firm no on this being vax related.

But the trauma followed by immediate collapse just feels like that was it. Hopefully quick CPR saves his life.

Yes, this was it. If I recall it's more common in late teens. In med school we had a number of car accidents examples that were basically fender benders where younger men went into cardiac arrest.

Prayers for the young man are definitely in order.

But ignoring the adverse effects of the mRNA vaccines is irresponsible. 1 out of 800 shot have had adverse effects.

Vaccines have been pulled for 1 out of 100,000 adverse effects. Why can’t we get studies done in this country and at least a pause on the vaccines.

I have to get my trails information from Dr. John Campbell in the UK and he has to walk a fine line to just stay on YouTube

This sounds like a very reasonable explanation

Some news station reported that he got cpr and a defibrillator and is intubated but not breathing on his own.

He received cpr for 9 minutes. I’m not a DR, but that tends to lead to brain damage.
