He’ll lose.

But he’s probably going to lose anyway.

We see right through it. This board can’t. It is what it is.

They sealed the nomination for Trump today. I hope it works out for us.

I am not ruling out voting for Ron as long as he strongly condemns this.

It ought to be a wake-up call for anyone who puts a lick of trust in the U.S. government.

You may need to vote for someone else then. You want any other candidates to condemn this or do you have a particular hard on against DeSantis?

It’s just rallying the MAGA/America First movement and pissing off middle of the road types.

Good. I'm just as sick as the witch-hunt against Trump as the rest of y'all. If he doesn't condemn it I'll be extremely disappointed too. I will switch my support to Trump and burn my DeSantis gear if he goes full RINO.

Both indicted and eliminated as contenders, Dems get a third tier candidate for Biden and they skate back in. Republican establishment will not allow an indicted/convicted candidate to be the nominee.

It won’t do this at all come November 2024. It’ll do the opposite. He will lose independents by quite a lot.

To what end? We're screwed regardless.

Trump losing to Biden again, or getting electing again and chasing his tail again for 4 years to usher in yet another Democrat administration that'll take conservatism further to the fringe?

It's probably going to be the only option and I am disgusted by the absurdity of it all, and that certainly includes the injustice of persecuting Trump.

The fight is likely worth fighting, but we've ensured that the man at the center of it is not. Trump isn't worthy of our support. He'll treat it cheaply as he always has and will squander any gains achieved.

Nope. Every problem Trump has he brought on himself. This is yet another example of ego and carelessness giving the Deep State another chance to fook him over.

Vivek is already out there with a strong statement

Any candidate who does not come out with a similar statement won't get my vote.

I think there may still be a way for DeSantis. It’s tricky but possible.

He’s got to do the obvious and that is calling out the political witch hunting and corruption that has infested the DOJ and connect it to Biden. That’s easy, there’s plenty to work with there.

He needs to keep the focus on DOJ political corruption and Biden without making the focus on Trump. That’s the tricky part. A key point will be to not mention Trump; just don’t go there. But hammer the DOJ corruption and everything they and the fbi have done and keep the focus on that and the Biden administration. When the media brings up Trump, ignore it and redirect the focus to the DOJ and Biden.

They would never do this to Ron he is one of them. How can you not see the Bush's played the long con with Ron & gave him MAGA hats? Ron would govern like Romney & GWBush the status quo.

Proof is he can't even buck the establishment on Ukraine.

They will eventually come after all of us themselves, or the CCP military on our border.

Biden's 5 million dollar CCP bribe with evidence & receipts; and they know Trump is the only one that will expose them all.

Ron would never dismantle the FBI. They wouldn't allow him.

I think DeSantis is assuming - fairly reasonably so - that Trump is so drama plagued (both unfairly and at his own invitation) that even indictments have a short news cycle.

But I don't see anyway that it doesn't at least stall his ability to make up ground.

The two cases against him in New York and I guess Miami will not help him at all with independents. It's really game over.

We are moving into the five stages of grief.
Anger
Denial
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance
Don is in stage two and his followers are in stage 1.

No he's not. He's just another safeguard against Trump. He'll be well rewarded by the same masters who are weaponizing the government to remove a political rival.
