Just so untrue. Trump spent money like his last name was Obama. His budget deficit in 2019, the year BEFORE COVID was $974 billion. Good economy, no pandemic and a Trillion dollar deficit. There is just no excuse for this. None.

You best judge a man by the enemies he's made. - Attributed to many different sources of varied repute. But words to live by.

Trump was good for business for permanent Washington/the establishment. He threw cash at them incessantly, even before Covid but to ridiculous levels with Covid. The establishment f'n thrived under Trump. The reason for the passionate hate is twofold IMO:

1. While he's a billionaire Ivy Leaguer, Trump is crass and crude, and not "sophisticated" enough to hide his outsized ego. Also, he makes things personal. In a curious way, he is "unwashed".

2. He tapped into middle America like no other politician in decades, and that caused a shite ton of fear before Covid.

Free beer tomorrow.

He had 4 years, and I didn’t expect miracles but I did expect progress. He didn’t move the needle, and a few weeks ago he was defending Christopher Wray.

maybe this is close:

espionage Florida
election interference Ga.
seditious conspiracy d.c.

and trump confessed to Washington post interview that trump downplayed (lied about) the danger of the early cv19 variants.

+ lied that Mexico would pay for the wall.

Come on man... I read your post, your a bright fella. There are no rational Democrats, one must be irrational to support all they stand for.

I'm not sure how much this can be emphasized and amplified but it needs to be shouted from the rooftops and the mountaintops.

Globalism built modern Washington DC and the fortunes that staffed it. Trump re-introduced nationalism into the national conscience and they will never forgive him for that. Now their job is convincing those who voted for Trump that MAGA is really just another flavor of globalism... in other words, typical Bush republican.

It's ok to just openly campaign for him, you know. You don't have to pretend that you're actually curious about the answers to your "question".

Why do you think every major institution is anti Trump? Hmmmm?

I think you're suggesting that permanent Washington (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Left) hates Trump because he makes their lives difficult and they fear him. But what are the chances that its hatred of Trump is the one rational thing the Left does?

DT was very good for establishment business. This is obvious to anyone paying attention. The establishment was substantially more powerful, more monied, more in control on Trump's last day than it was on his first.

Why are you expecting a rational explanation about irrational people who think irrational thoughts and do irrational things.

Do you agree with me that the establishment was substantially more powerful, more monied, more in control on Trump's last day than it was on his first?
