No the fentanyl epidemic is under estimated iit has claimed people from my group of friends and my wife’s family. The Chinese are ultimately behind this imo. Two pronged attack via the virus and drugs they will conquer us without firing a shot

It’s one of the most awful things to happen to this generation I could possibly imagine.. If you believe you can sit back in judgement and think this is just a ‘druggie” problem, just wait. It will affect you soon someday. Nobody is safe from this horrible shite and you too will eventually feel it’s pain.

First of all, the opiate crisis has been going on for a very long time.

You need to look at the medical community if you want someone to blame.

hard to have any sympathy for drug addicts

I get what you’re saying-maybe drug addicts “deserve what they get”( if you happen to feel that way) But sometimes, especially young people, will do something dumb ONE TIME like take a pill that is offered, & that is all it could take for them to to die from this shite. Or it could be given to someone who really doesn’t know better, like a special needs individual.

The only part being blown out of proportion is saying just handling a pill will kill you. I have a friend of a friend who actually shoots the stuff up and lives on Skid Row in LA. If simply getting the dust on your finger will kill you, seems like there wouldn't still be hundreds of thousands of junkies out there on the streets anymore.

We really need to bomb the cartel fentanyl factories in Mexico like Trump suggested.

Mark Esper called him a fool. I call him a genius.

So why are dealers lacing pills with fentanyl. Why would they kill off their customers? Are they replacing portions of the pain killers with fentanyl and lacing it with too much?

This is one of my biggest fears as a father to two young children. Neither are at that age yet, but I worry about what it will be like 5-20 years from now.

I know 6 people who have died off Fentanyl 1 was a guy i know who had major back issues and would run out of pain pills from the doctor so he went to the street to get pain pills and it was actually Fentanyl pills which killed him

We would be better off giving addicts safe oxy from clinics than forcing them to roll the dice with fentanyl laced pills on the street.

they didn't sell, no one would make them. From what I've read, the hardcore addicts like fentanyl because it's ridiculously stronger than heroin. Their view on it is so warped that if a few people die from drugs laced with it, they want those drugs more.

This is it right here.

The business model has devolved into something more sinister.

Not No! But hell NO!

I personally know of four deaths of young people under age 25 from fentanyl laced Percocet pills in the past 8 months.

I know of 3 in the last year from ADHD meds

the goal is to kill Americans not sell pills

it's simple yet people will still ask, "why are they killing their buyers?"
