If that were true, we wouldn't keep hearing about how many pressed pills are being smuggled across our Southern border.

Trump went after the pain clinics and put a huge dent in prescription pill abuse.

It’s a matter of priorities.

I agree with Bass Tiger. This fentanyl problem was caused by changing hydrocodone from a C-III to C-II. Harder to get a prescription for it now. Same as Prohibition. The demand is there. So folks taking advantage by lacing pills with fentanyl. Media beating the drum on Opoid Crisis.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around why dealers are using fentanyl so much now to cut other drugs. It just seems bad for business to do things that kill their clientele. What happened to them using things like baking soda that are cheap and harmless?

Good question. How does that make any sense?

Think about it.

You’re wrong. Cartels are also lacing things with fentanyl

Didn’t you hear? The election was the most secure and legitimate election in US history.

That isn't how a majority of the substance enters the nation. Most is shipped directly into the country from China.

The Fentanyl that comes up from Mexico was originally a precursor that was shipped south from our ports to a lab and then shipped north again.

Probation Officer here. We have offenders dropping dead daily from fentanyl use.

The only part that is exaggerated is the accidental ingestion part.

Lost my youngest son on Mother’s Day. My wife and I are devastated. His best friend was found dead two weeks later.

The only way to make this go away is to lock up anyone using for at least 3 months while at the same time giving the death penalty to anyone caught selling any amount

Dealers here use it to make pills and lace heroin. Cartels who move coke, H, etc aren’t using fentanyl. It’s 100% being done here by street dealers or middlemen suppliers in order to make their stuff more powerful and supply go further

Maybe a few years ago but that just isn’t true anymore, at least in the Southwest and West Coast. Everyone knows damn well any street pill sold as an opioid is fentanyl and they come across the border ready for the streets.

Condolences but the addiction is stronger than the fear of death if his best friend continued to use after your son's death. Not sure how you fix that.
