The problem with the FBI and pretty much all fed agencies is that there is no longer a higher authority that is able to exert accountability and personal responsibility any executive branch appointed agency. The president and there political party appoint the DOJ hierarchy and that hierarchy has total authority to shut down any suspected illegality. The DOJ is guilty of obstruction of justice on so many levels but there is no other power that has the ability to investigate and prosecute the DOJ without the DOJ giving it's approval.

Growing up, it was my dream to be and FBI agent. My major and extra classes were all geared towards it. I graduated, got married, and decided I couldn't have a family and peruse my dream. I decided on a family instead. I dodged a huge bullet. They've turned into nothing but the military arm of the DOJ.

Absolutely. If there are any decent field agents why wouldn't they stand up and defy their corrupt bosses?

I’d guess that most of the new hire agents are also ideologically corrupted as much as the appointees…and that’s specifically why they were selected and hired.

Without a doubt. Good question is, at what point will courts begin to recognize the mountain of evidence of the corruption begin casting doubt on the credibility of the agency in court?
