Gen-Xer here. I frickin loved the 80s and 90s. Best times.

We played outside and got exposed to the elements. We scraped up our knees, we'd get poison ivy, we'd go to the corner store to buy stuff without helicopter paranoia parents doggie-chaining us to the house, and most importantly, no stupid tablets and phones.

Let’s not forget that social media has given people an elevated sense of worth.

The 90s had the Simpsons, South Park and King of the Hill.

Comic strip, not animated shows.

90s had that hands down across all genres

Techno pop and rap ruined it all.

The best music was late 60s, early 70s. It's still on the radio.

That above is the root of our problems today. You take that out of the equation, you have different outcomes. No need crying over spilled milk, huh? It’s here to stay and it’s not a damn thing we can do about it anymore. We did it to ourselves.

IMO 70s were the most free.

The 50s-60s were great (free AND normal) too.

From the 1950s-1990s America was specifically blessed with humanity's zenith of freedom + leisure time + luxury + peace of mind.

UNTIL 911. (When the Shadow Luciferian Elites decided otherwise).

You mean the globalists were successful. Bin Laden is just the narrative

Well that wasn't the first time nor the last, but they unleashed satanic power into this world on that day which might be unparalleled in history simply because they had so much blood in that unholy sacrifice and it was so well thought out from a ritualistic magik standpoint... It was an extremely powerful spell of darkness executed to perfection according to the ancient mysteries.

I was born in 1970 and don't have many memories of the first half of the decade but I'd still go 70s/80s. 90s were pretty solid too, though.

Delusions of GRANDEUR??? Surely you jest. People today are suffering from simple delusions of adequacy! Grandeur is far beyond their reach these days.

‘76 here. Don’t remember the 70’s but remember a little prior to kindergarten and of course afterwards. Things were so much simpler during all of that. We as a family ate dinner at the table. Looking back, it’s hard to imagine how parents had a job and still had time for family values.

No, by virtually every available metric the world as a whole is better today than it has ever been.

Everyone remembers the prime of their life fondly and as they age revisionist history takes over and they yearn for “the good old days”. This has been the case as long as man has walked the earth. 25 years from now those currently in their 20s and 30s will be telling everyone how much better life was in the 2020s.

The only surprising part about this cycle is the fact that so many are apparently oblivious to it and keep falling into the trap

Unfortunately you youngsters never had the chance to enjoy REAL freedom. The best years ever were from the mid 1940's to the mid 60's when, unfortunately, rock and roll and the hippie era really started to take the world on the road to hell in a handbasket.

I would nominate the 2 decades after man learned how to build fire.

Or create the wheel.

Or the printing press.

Or electricity.

Or after the plague.
