Is it really a woman's right to choose life or death for a child?

Warning... Graphic

But even those on the fence, after watching this, can you still say that a woman or a man for that matter has a right to terminate this life?

I personally cannot think of a more barbaric and actually inhuman thing to contemplate.

No. Your linked video doesn't show any child.

Hell no, that right belongs to old, white republican men.

Why do you hate science?

I, personally, love me some abortion. I think every poor, welfare-dependent idiot that is on the fence regarding giving birth should turn to abortion. Hell, I'd be happy to pay for them right out of pocket (technically I kind of do now anyway).

However, I will not sit here and deny what the act really is.

You want to end abortion as a legal procedure in this country, republicans will have to at least find the center on other social programs (immigration, gay marriage, etc), because you're going to have to be the Democrats in 2008 for it to happen.

But, realistically, I doubt many of you care about kids that much. If you aren't mourning the dead children from the conflicts in the Middle East or crying for neglected and abused children throughout the country, you're not as worried about the children as you make yourself out to be.

I'll agree to this. Democrats have to go through some serious mental gymnastics to view it as anything else other than life.

In the eyes of the pro-choice crowd, there is no life until the baby is outside of the mother. Thus, what is happening inside the mother's body is not a life, nor a child. It's no different than getting a tumor removed for them.

That's the problem with the pro-choice vs pro-life debate. The two sides aren't even on the same planet when it comes to the stipulation of facts.

For the advocates of abortion, just wondering if say 25-30 years ago if abortions were as numerous and socially accepted as they are today, you ever think that just maybe you wouldn't be around today?

How's it feel to live life that dishonestly? Does it really actually ease your conscience so as to make it more bearable? This is a human were talking about here Rex, and it's not a movie. It's real life and death stuff.

No.

Is it really a government's right to choose pregnancy or no pregnancy for a woman? Only if you believe in "limited" government I guess.

I agree with this, and is why abortion really isn't an important issue to me. I personally think it is murder, but until those(Republicans) that are so adamantly against it start showing a little more concern for the kids born into poverty, I'll continue to dismiss their stance on it.
