Because they’re shooting up in my area. Not fun. No lasting relief in sight, either.

It sucks.

But if we as a people can’t nutt up and put up with a modicum of sacrifice to do some long term good, we are finished as a people.

It's your duty to pay more for gas and everyday goods so that isreal can prosper comrade. Just shut and send more of your money to the govt.

I get sacrificing. Just seems like there’s not really an end in sight.

“No lasting relief in sight”

Yall said the same thing 4 months ago, then went radio silent when prices dropped 50 cents.

Prices have been higher during this Trump term than the entire time Biden stickers were showing up on pumps.

I grew up around my grandparents who were in world war II. They told me about sugar rations, gas rations, tire rations, no new cars, etc etc etc.

That generation did real sacrificing , today we are just a bunch of pussies.

And they had no idea what the end in sight would be.

Imagine being a grown man so poor that you pay attention to gas prices

My parents *never* even paid attention

And neither do I

Your dad didn’t work his fingers to the bone so his loser son complains about pump prices

You will be set upon by a herd of zombies who will either mock you for being poor, call you a liar, or try to convince you that this is not a big deal or even actually a good thing.

All winning strategies in an election year when affordability is the #1 issue.

Also, trucking and shipping costs are up over 30% which is always excellent for the economy and the consumer.

You will also probably see a few replies saying it doesn’t matter if Democrats win because the Republicans won’t pass the SAVE Act. Never mind that 48 out of 48 Democrats oppose the SAVE Act and 48 out of 52 Republicans support the SAVE Act.

The correct strategy here is more Democrats and less Republicans. It’s a bold strategy.

Yeah it sucks. Sometimes long term gains will mean short term losses. It is what it is. Iran has to be dealt with once and for all. Every administration prior kept kicking the can down the road.

It’s not a duty. You can always figure out your own source of food, and carry your arse on foot instead of automobile. See, you have options to demonstrate your seriousness about these things.

Not “we”. But it is true there are some giant gaping vaginas here who try to use everything they can including elevated gas prices to score political points on OMB.

Early indications are this OP is one of the giant gaping vaginas.
