Do the people refuse to submit to lawful commands by the police? If you refuse to be apprehended peacefully you are allowed to be apprehended using escalating force to ensure the safety of the community and the police being put in that position.

If that ends up meaning bullets fly so be it.

Boston Massacre 1770 - you would have sided with the Red Coats?

How did this strategy work out long term for the British?

I don't know anyone making the claim that it's okay to shoot protestors. Criminals yes, protestors no.

In Texas it's OK to kill to defend life or property. This isn't ancient history crap either. Happens more often than people know. I remember a case in Lakeway west of Austin where a teen was shot dead breaking into a truck stealing stereo equipment, grand jury no bill. Sad case actually, but it sure cut down the late night mischief in Lakeway for a while, boy howdy.

You make a lousy comparison at the very least.

yes. Use large caliber bullets so both them and the taxpayer doesn't have to suffer.

My truck is equipped with a Model HK9 "Demon" Steel Triple Train Horn with an Onboard 5 Gallon Air System at 150 PSI.

I have not ever encountered a mob but I am set up when I do. Of course, when it does occur, it will be videoed.

There is a reason why there is a high threshold for the government to shoot people

I'm not sure why any sane person would want to lower that threshold

I know you said govt to shohot people, however if people were going to loot, vandalize or threaten my family, or property, I would protect them all with deadly force. I also don't think that I would have any issues with a jury in my parish convicting me either, the sheriff wouldn't have issues with it, this I know.

Agree, but property owners should be able to defend their property, whether residential or commercial.

Better question is "why don't you shoot violent protesters"? Wouldn't take but a couple and they would go home. Soros couldn't pay them enough to risk their lives.
