They claim when he was asked about the homestead amendment he said, "Well, I can't do anything about that".

Very vague. Rispone comes across as a horrible horrible candidate, but JBE is a seasoned POS. Guess us folks uo moeth jist have ti jols oir joses ans vote for a used carsalesman.

Sorta. He wants to allow individual parishes to decide the issue. His allies want to allow local parishes to set the amount of the homestead exemption, possibly even eliminate it.
