Interesting. My take after watching the vid is whoever produced the vid is telling Catholic folks they need to get to confessing their sins.
I never understood Catholic confession, Christ died for our sins, rose on the 3rd day, ascended to Heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father. Jesus told the Apostles he would send a Helper, the Holy Spirit. Every Believer would receive the Holy Spirit as a part of accepting and proclaiming Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and through prayer and the Holy Spirit we have communion with Jesus Christ and Jesus intercedes on our behalf to the Heavenly Father.
In other words, a Christian doesn’t require a priest to confess their sins to the Father, the Holy Spirit and our Lord and Savior are who Christians confess their sins.
