The 16th amendment. What do I win??
Have you read it in it's entirety? Says congress has a "right" to impose. There's no law or statue.

Ok. Now try the Revenue Act of 1913…. And 1916.
What were the prizes for finding this again? They still offering it?
Again folks… critical thinking. If there is no law… why do tax attorneys not have slam dunk cases.

Who going to be the first to try this theory?

Once upon a time-
A guy who worked for me called me from the police station in the middle of the night, screaming and crying to tell me that the police had come into his home and arrested him for being drunk.
I told him, "Hell, Donte, they can't just come inside your house and put you in jail for being drunk!". After a long pause, he replied, "I understand boss, ...but that's where I'm calling you from."

Still waiting on the law or statute.
We can kick these rocks all day.
Still reading what's not there.

Uhhhh i already told you. The revenue acts of 1913 and 1916. Also.. The War revenue act of 1917.
These are congressional passed acts (law) made constitutional by the 16th amendment.
I’m seriously not getting the downvote.. look these up if you think I’m lying. Hell… the 1916 act is where we get 501(c) companies to this very day. Again folks… critical thought. Not propaganda.

Where in the constitution does it give the power of the federal government to collect taxes, educate children, etc?
If it's not mentioned in the Constitution, then it means that it's a state issue to do as they please so long as the Constitution isn't violated in the process.

We should have WWI paid off soon.

If the government would stay in it's lane and only do what the constitution gives it the power to do, we could get by with a very small tax burden.

The people that really get caught up in this spend a lot of time breaking down the legal definition of “United States.”
I flew with a guy a couple months ago who hasn’t paid federal income taxes in years & lists himself as exempt on all employee tax forms. Not sure how long he’ll get away with it, but he carries around a brief case of all the court cases that have set precedent around it.
The amount of time and effort he’s put into defending his stance is both admirable and alarming.

Very, very similar mindset.
Here’s the website he sent me. These people supposedly guarantee that if you use their services, they will pay to cover your fines and court fees, and they claim they’ve never had the Feds come after any of their clients.

This is another scam. The Feds tax our gas and then States have to fight to get it back for Interstate and other projects.
I could rail on this forever. Eliminate the Fed part of gas tax. States could then just increase theirs to make it equal so no increase or decrease rather the state keeps all the gas tax.
Then state needs to use taxes to maintain and build roads. Right now the largest states get faster and bigger money because they have so many more in Congress. They blackmail smaller states on annual road funds sent back. Its all a scam.
Then once we get Fed out of it they can’t blackmail states over road funding again. Plus State can decide how to allocate and fix/build roads.

I do have to admit I’m a little jealous of him if he gets away with it. I’d never have the guts to try something like that, but he’s keeping an extra $100K+ per year in his pocket by just saying “nah.”

Why the briefcase?
Does he think that when the feds come to arrest him, he'll just bust out printed court rulings and they'll let him go?

He’s got this scenario pinned down in his head. Almost a scripted rebuttal that he’s convinced will get him out of trouble if he goes in front of a judge.

Clearly he hasn't seen "judge schools sovereign idiot" videos on Youtube
I've seen this happen live in court before
