Since when did Iraq and Iran become so chummy?
The Trump admin asked Iraq to mediate with Iran, us, and the KSA.

about to get kicked out and Iran will own Iraq in 2 years.
So? We have Iran now. So they get more oil and a ton of sectarian headaches. But we no longer have a country named Iraq.

Doesn't sound all that bad to me.

We may have to shoot our way out. The last troops will be in peril either as targets of mortars as they board planes or as the last convoy crosses into Saudi Arabia or Kuwait. Any equipment loading onto a ship at an ocean access port will be mortar targets also.

Yeah, having Iran and SA share a land border would be a wonderful idea

Better now to ignite that fire before either develops nukes.

We could. And let the Sectarian slaughter begin? Iraqi Sunnis must know what will happen. There is no 'Iraq' per se; those days are over. Of course, the real Trump strategy is to take out the Islamist Regime in Iran...so...with that possibility being more possible now than in the last 40 years...let the strategist figure it out.

That'll be on them and not on us. We should respect their wishes. If they Sunni's fear the consequences, they should align with friendly neighbors and whip some arse. Hell, give Israel a call and make a land deal. You help us, you get Iran and it's oil.

I'm sorry, but SA and Iran are fighting today, only they are using other countries as proxies. Let them settle things mono a mono.

Sorry, but I never heard of the guy before we killed him. Now neocons are telling us he was behind Benghazi, 9/11, torture, and terrorism? Sorry, hard to believe all that.

Very astute observation. Our gov't has always been good about giving us regular debriefings on all the bad actors around the world and what they have achieved and aspire to. Since you had never heard of him, he's obviously an insignificant nobody with no power and certainly no threat to the US, our allies, or ME stability.

I won't call you a dumbass, because I can tell from your shitposting that you are a little deeper than that. Paid shill? James Carville? Doubt it, I think he's be more subtle. Maybe just a troll.

We lost 5,000 US soldiers in an ill advised war in Iraq started by Bush and Cheney, with 10’s of thousand of troops maimed and damaged, and now are about to get kicked out and Iran will own Iraq in 2 years. Hence, we will have lost everything we fought for. While Trump May get a short term saber rattle bump, the geo-political middle eastern future interests in the ME will diminish

This is terrible logic. Evaluate the situation today, regardless of our past actions, take appropriate action. We never gained anything so nothing is lost
