They were just locked out of the negotiating process, Trump has threatened to abandon them, and Vance just made it crystal clear to them that Trump, for now, is the only world leader still somewhat on their side and that they had better rethink their bullshite.
You might not like it, but yes, I've been calling this correctly every step of the way.

Its not just Iranian oil that wasnt shipping. If the SoH didnt open soon there was going to be a massive global shortage. We may have been able keep up supply for domestic use but US oil executive have been warning Trump for weeks that the price was going to start sky rocketing . You can't just shut off 20-30% of the world oil supply and pretend it wont effect everyone.

If they shut it down again we should take Kharg and the area around the straits. Pound everything else to sand while we send trucks of weapons in to the public. Hold the straits and Kharg and keep them till such time that an acceptable government can take custody again. You think the blockade hurt, wait till you see what happens when we take away all your remaining leverage and you can do nothing to stop it.

Iran is not in the best position cause our military is the beekeeper. If they want to sting the their hive will be destroyed.
It didnt take a genius to know they would not honor deal.. But now if they dont the world will know we tried our best.
Trump knew they would break it but now he looks good for trying and if we have to go back we install the people we can deal with and destroy their military.
We know where their troops are and we will find their military leaders and i presume all their bases. If the military tries to hide in the population they have been oppressing for so long i cant see that going well.
Their government is not in charge and military is not going to allow any peace.
Now we can take them out and when the leaders see it cratering they commit suicide or try to leave the country.
And if Russia or China intrtferes in any way we refuse any oil to ever be shipped to them again.

They have used drones to some effect on commercial shipping but they would not be able to fully shut down the Strait with drones. The few times they launched them at Navy ships they were shot down. They could not fully shut down the Strait.
