this stuff is so stupid

I'm not assuming we lost, in part, because what qualifies as a win is going to be a moving target

I doubt you'd even set that standard right now, because if Trump shifts on it next week, you're on the record

In Iran, if you protest, you die. Not metaphorically. Snipers on rooftops shoot people in the head and chest. In January, the regime massacred thousands in the streets, many of them young people whose only crime was demanding a normal life.
When he says Iranians are telling the U.S. “please keep bombing” he’s describing a population so desperate to be free from a regime that murders them for protesting, that they’re willing to endure war if it means the system that has terrorized them for 47 years finally falls.
You may not understand that. Most Westerners can’t. You’ve never lived in a country where your daughter can be shot in the face for not covering her hair. Where your son disappears into Evin Prison and you get a call to come pick up the body. Where the internet goes dark so the world can’t see the killing.
That’s what “they have lived in a world that you know nothing about” means.
Before the media turns this into “Trump wants to bomb civilians,” understand: the Iranian people have been begging the world to see them for years. This is the first U.S. president to say it out loud.

.@POTUS explains to a reporter that the Iranian people yearn for freedom: "We've had numerous intercepts, 'Please keep bombing' ... and these are people that are living where the bombs are exploding... they want freedom. They have lived in a world that you know nothing about."
I'd rather use billions that may turn into trillions to clean up our own house before worrying about wasting that on cleaning up another country.

When did we pull ICE out?
February of 2026, did you miss it? The administration has told you this, why argue that it didn't end?

Just because MSNBC isn't crying about "the gestapo" and Renee Good / Alex Pretti daily anymore, you think ICE is no longer in Minneapolis? You fricking nerd.
But if your own administration told you Operation Metro Surge was essentially ending with the vast majority of ICE officers leaving, then what, you still don't believe it for...reasons?

bro one of my biggest things with trump is he always avoided war

but at some point you cant keep kicking the can down the road and a nuclear power iran is absolutely a threat
Considering US intelligence said 7 months ago Iran was "years away" from a nuke, and after that, we "obliterated" their facilities, how exactly are we at that "some point" 7 months later?

Can anyone explain that? Or we gotta just trust Trump because he said Iran was "2 weeks way?"

WRONG.....DJT is only president with the BALLS to take action! We will ALL be better in the long run.

Trump would have taken Iran in his first term, but he knew it would have costed him re-election.....
So in his second term, Iran was only months away from a NUKE, he had no choice but to go in before the mid-terms to prevent that event from happening....so I am in total support of his actions, period.

People are fixated on gas prices, stock market reactions, negative world narratives, and war in general....fixate on the real problem, and it all makes total sense.

When does ground troops move in. And will Israel finally send thier boys ? I didn't see a single one in Afghanistan or Iraq. Your kids will not see one in Iran either. This was not for the advancement of the United States of America. Sure seem to be helping the United States of Israel though

Never forget the USS Liberty

This is easily the greatest risk Trump has ever taken.

The biggest thing to come out of this war is how we have learned there are so many giant vaginas residing in our country.

Now, Trump has put himself in a difficult situation of whether or not to follow through on his threats. Totally manufactured by him. What are we doing here? What happened to America First?

I don't know, I guess he felt called to do the world a favor and get rid of the evil Islamic leadership of Iran that creates all the problems over there

of which we're always involved in

I hate the situation, praying for a good outcome

China, the largest oil importer in the entire world, brings in large amounts from Iran. At least they did as of February 2026. Not any more. No more discounted oil shipments from Iran OR Venezuela. Trump is eliminating Chinese proxies and trading partnerships one by one. The short sightedness over the US and Israeli militaries attacking Iran has been very surprising to me. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. But somehow I still am.
