4 weeks ago the city council cancelled a 1.4 billion dollar desal plant project they had already spent 100 million on. City got swindled by very large petrochemical projects giving away 70 percent of water.

Probably for the best. Why would any American city build desalinization plants?

Tehran is about 70 miles from the Caspian sea. Are these inbred asshats incapable of building a pipeline that far?

The Romans longest aqueduct was 265 miles. They could build them that went over mountains and across valleys.

Let's see, whose water can they steal by putting dams up to stop the water flowing to .......
Pakistan, for one, is getting more bent out of shape because water isn't getting to them because of upstream dams beyond their borders.

Maybe they should spend more on water infrastructure than their nuclear weapons program

No worries. Gavin Newsom just volunteered to fix the problem.

The northern and western Gulf of America is in a drought. This is cyclical, like all weather patterns.

water is not the problem, even the arid parts of the country receive more annual rain fall than texas, the eastern plains receive more annual rainfall than arkansas. it's the lack of reservoirs and infrastructure to deliver the water. completely man made problems they've been around as a civilization since 142 BC and it's still a schithole,
