I tend to agree, and if it doesn’t work, I don’t believe it will be the US who is the primary aggressor. Israel will take that role, IMO.

Same. We will shift it to be Bibi's problem.

Who cares WHO "does it"?? How does threatening destruction, murder and mayhem IN IRAN benefit the USA?

You are actually defending this unfettered, un-necessary neocon war-frenzy policy?

This nuke shite has been an issue for 20+ years.

It's past the point of "getting old".

Huh?? Like Iraq "retaliated" when it had to defend itself from overwhelming force in two (immoral, unethical) wars that devastated that country?

Or would Iran actually be...doing the same, defending itself from two bullying belligerent nations attacking it for no good, legitimate reason other than Regime Change, empire-building and plundering of natural resources?

Trump’s waiting for the ayatollah to say something nice about him. If he shows respect for Trump everything will be okay.

“ mullahs to start behaving”(quote iw).

The Mullahs hired foreign mercenaries to murder tens of thousands of their citizens. The Mullahs will hang if/when the Regime topples. They know it’s all or nothing.

Ooof. An obvious signal of subservience. Bibi even smiled smugly as Trump did this.

This is stupid. Bibi doesn't even know what's going on behind him. He's about to sit on the edge of the chair, and Trump pushed it forward so he wouldn't fall off the edge.

This isn't subservience. It's common courtesy. You losers have to look for literally anything to make your point. Your desperation should be a giant clue that you don't actually have one.

Since all of you geniuses think Trump is just doing Israel's bidding, explain the huge gap in logic. For months, the idiots claimed Trump was going to invade Iran and engage in regime change on behalf of Israel.

Overnight, the argument switched to Trump isn't attacking Iran because Israel won't let him.

Since you guys are masters at geopolitics, tell us why Israel backed off the goal you all told us existed at the precise point the world was watching the protestors and had the most people in agreement with their cause.

You people literally never think through your positions.

Every populist who has run around simpering like Paul Lynde for six years.

(Like you're doing right now, in fact.)

Unlike the populists, I have always been in favor of American hegemony. When the US was following a policy of non-intervention we had several wars, but mainly we had two WORLD wars, and the second one involved detonating nuclear weapons on people.

Since we've adopted a strategy of interventionism we've had zero world wars and no nuclear weapons used.

I'll take that result.

Nice melodrama!

Those with IQs over 80 realize I was parodying the populists who sounded just like you for six years and then turned on a dime when Trump started intervening.

But I will admit to one thing: it never occurred to me that you were serious. I thought you were making fun of the idiots too. Now I know you simply are one.

Her certainly and obviously did, brutha. The body-language and side-peak from Bibi doesn't lie.

For normal people, yes. On this occasion, this gesture with these two leaders, there's far more to the eye.

What then do you think this US Armada and annihilation threat is really all about? Usreal openly admits and boasts of it's "River-to-the-Sea" empire expansion. It's no secret. Gaza. Syria. Iran. Iraq.

quote:

Since you guys are masters at geopolitics, tell us why Israel backed off the goal

Usrael has NEVER "backed off" its goal of annexation a "Greater Israel". Trump and his handlers are ALL IN.

You are correct it IS different. When Trump does it it is to win and be done with it forever. When the dims do it, it is to engage in a battle that will go on and one forever.

Heading into 2026, I will admit that I really didn't have "Iran Regime Change" on my bingo card. Nor did I have "Flawless Maduro Extraction" either.

It's been an interesting year already, and it's still January.

Shout out to PoliBoard user LSUbest, who scooped the deployment of the EA-37B last night, right here on this board.

Everyone was running around like it’s Call of Duty and you can just drop Delta on a major regional power with zero warning and expect to have things end well.

No.

Venezuela required planning, prestaging of logistics over weeks and redeploying fleets.

It took some time but I sure as hell wouldn’t want to be in Iranian high command when v2.0 is ready to roll.
