Looks like a two man race between Biden and Bernie, right? Who’s gonna win?

Would not be suprised to find out that Trump has had a heart attack before. He may have been able to keep it quiet.

Bernie will def win - some of the Warren folks and the Pete folks will flip to Bernie to prevent Biden from winning.

And then I hope Obama comes out against Bernie. What a shite show that would be.

The guy goes about 16 hours or more a day.

He hasn't had a heart attack.

Sanders will win Iowa. The caucus style favors him. His supporters are much more enthusiastic on average than Biden's are. Caucusing is just as much about enthusiasm as raw numbers. In 2016 Bernie won most caucus states and Hillary won most primary states.

Bernie vastly overpowered his poll numbers in Iowa in 2016, polls showed Hillary 5-8% ahead and it was effectively a tie.

Bernie will win both Iowa and New Hampshire and it will become a two man race, Bernie vs. Biden.

Biden should be making hay right now. His main opponents are trying to sleep in the Senate with no prospect of flying the coop for a few weeks unless the Republican majority bows up and just dismisses this thing.

honest IOWA question from someone who thinks he knows a thing or two about politics.. me...

How is it possible so many small town, hard-working, Midwest, white people could possibly vote for these deranged, America-hating assholes?

I have friends who are democrats, and none of them want to talk about this field of candidates. How are Iowans not throwing plates of oatmeal and milk at these dipshits??

They are waking up, it just takes time. Iowa went for Obama twice and Trump won it by 10%, he'll win it by even more in 2020.

If you've been a life long Democrat it takes a lot for some people to abandon their allegiance.

Depends on the weather. Bad weather...Bernie wins a close one. Good weather...Joe wins a close one.

IMO, either way, Iowa means zero this year. We'll need Iowa, NHampshire, Nevada, and SCarolina to begin to understand the trend.

Joe Biden is gonna win the nomination and the Presidency. That's my guess.

I hear you. I really do.

If this was the Biden of 2008 running, I could see Iowa Democrats going along with it. But good god... these candidates are all but screaming:
- illegal aliens are better than citizens
- white people are always wrong
- non-earners in our country deserve more handouts
- government knows better, and will spend your money smarter than you

My county is one of the smaller ones in WI and Trump barely won. I really don't get it as it's got a higher than average number of evangelicals. There's relatively few hardcore Dems, although I have seen a small group of them doing mini protests a few times that never happened before 2016.

There are lot of people on assistance and I'm sure they vote to keep the gravy train going.

What? Would have to be a completely random event. He has no history of heart problems.
