Hashtags and profile pictures with the Ukrainian flag won’t fill up their car with gas. Real world consequences always trump virtue signaling.

Every crisis is like this

Now you ask your CNN watching aunt if she’s still mad at racist Joe Rogan and she’ll respond: “Who’s Joe Rogan?”

Not with midterms coming up. Think about this… who have you not seen or heard from the past week who we heard something from almost daily over the past two years?

The political science has changed.

I found it interesting that a video of Ukrainian firemen were walking around buildings putting fires out with fire extinguishers was on the news. So during a war where bombs and missiles are being launched into buildings, the fireman are concerned about fires inside of them?

I could see them trying this but that FOIA release from Pfizer is going to bite them in the arse if they push hard enough on Covid.

No one knows how many doses were in play at the time of that report from February 2021 but 42,000 VAERS entries and at least 3% of those definitely resulting in deaths (with about 10,000 marked unknown) is a ticking time bomb for Pfizer and the administration.

He has to be depressed and frantically searching for a new variant.

This Russian war is showing us something never seen before and its should be somewhat concerning. Cancel Culture is now a weapon of war and its a big catch 22 for society.

In all previous conflicts, governments directed how sanctions were inflicted on the aggressors, but in this situation we are seeing non government and private sectors corporations implementing their own "war actions" sanctions. The private sectors are shutting off and isolating a whole country and that is warranted in this situation.

Its a new interesting development in this global society. I like the message this global cancel culture sends to other tyrannical governments but I also see this as being a new, and very concerning development for government sovereignty and government control of the global society.

Do we really want non-elected corporation and big money having the power to dictate how governments around the world operate? This can go really bad just as quick as it is right in this situation. Really, really bad.

Will they at least write it in Cyrillic this time?

Writing “baby milk factory” in English on a building in fricking Iraq and claiming it was exactly what it said on the tin was laughably bad by Team Saddam in 1991.

I actually disagree with this. Now that we're seeing civilians get bombed, and whereas I'm sure there are many Americans who suffer from ADHD, I'm a little worried this gets much worse before it gets better. That said, I'm also really intrigued to see what corporations actually maintain a stance against doing biz in Russia when the dust settles. Looking at you Apple and Boeing

Virtue signaling is hard work, man. It’s tough to feign anger for a long time, especially when most couldn’t find Ukraine with a map. It’s the tik tok, instant everything attention span- people can’t focus on much for any length of time.

I was wondering if this would happen when I saw them completely bombarding social media with this right off the bat. This is a war half way across the globe and doesn't have enough of a direct effect on peoples lives here to keep their attention longer than the week long news cycle.

They have played it up too hard, too soon.

That's always the default crisis I figure they will ramp up the war somehow. They needed this, begged for it to happen, then purposely made it happen by leaking info to China.

There's still a majority of Americans who fail to understand the CCP/China is largely behind Putin's invasion of Ukraine. Did Putin want to settle a score? Yes, but Xi's support for Putun's invasion was the catalyst for what's happening now in Ukraine. Xi is currently the grandmaster geopolitical chess wizard and he's playing a game of geopolitical chess that is far superior to the illegitimate Biden regime. As a side note, I didn't watch the faux SOTU but I bet Biden didn't say one negative remark about China did he? That should tell you all you need to know about who's calling the shots today.
