Instagram's "Mute White People" button

Instagram didn't create it, but they're allowing it, and it's popping up all over the site.
Apparently it was created by Refinery29. If you don't recognize that, it's essentially a feminist site that tries to be a Jezebel clone, only with fashion tips.
This is the button:
Oh, and Refinery29 is owned by.... wait for it... Vice Media.
So Instagram is letting the scummiest media operation in the world do this stuff, but regularly shuts down stickers from groups like the Heritage Foundation.
And yes, as others put it, they'd never allow something like "silence blacks".

So I have pictures above of inventors of the use and theory of electricity, light bulbs, AC, wireless technology, heart surgery, the jet engine... I could make this list all night, but I just wanted to say frick these people and their agenda.

I agree with you 100% but I also have to admit that Pizza Show on Vice is pretty awesome. I watch it on YouTube a lot. It has nothing to with Vice and everything to do with my love for pizza.
