That's not a "right-wing" movement. Even a ton of left wing people want transgendered people banned and placed in their own category.

This issue has come to my doorstep. I volunteered to run an elementary school track meet. At the last moment a principal forced it to have 3 categories based on some parent request:
Boys,Girls, and Gender Neutral.
I said I am uncomfortable with this change. I declined to run the track meet that way but gave them resources and people to do what they wanted.
I have been called to 2 different meetings about this with 2 principals and the athletic director. Of course all are hard core progressives.
I just stood my ground and said I am not volunteering to run a meet this way. I will not be bullied into this.

Well you’re showing empathy for mentally unstable Americans who without necessary extra support/supervision/attention are at a very high risk of committing suicide.
In a normal conversational context, I’d say you are just being a decent human being and showing some kind feelings toward those folks with unfortunate disabilities. In the context of this OP’s thread, I have to just sigh and say there’s much more important things to spend that emotional energy on than these attention seekers

I work for the district but it is not under my contractual duties to run this youth track meet. This was completely voluntary on my part and it was switched around at the last moment to the 3 categories.
Never saw a track meet like that ever before and I won't be in charge of one like that for little kids.
If enough parents want that though they can find someone else to do it.
