Not a lot of judges going to side with Alex Jones...and he was getting hammered with lawsuits.
His mistake is not being one of the msm. Only msm is allowed to talk from their asses and freely slander people.. and judges will line up to swat down most lawsuits against them.
Since he's not msm, he should play according to the non MSM rules.. and steer clear of any conversation that can slander someone else.

Come on dude, do you think bk is more commonly related to some extraordinary circumstance outside of mgmt control or just bad financial practices?

Don't try the cheap "think past the sale" persuasion techniques with me. You are not a mind reader, so you don't know what Alex's intentions were. Sandy Hook was suspicious as hell.
Everything might be a conspiracy!

The article didn't say if it was Chapter 7 or 11. Huge difference between the two. One means Infowars is no more. The other means he might have to pay some of the money for the next 4 to 5 years and be allowed to restructure then get the remaining debt discharged.

What does it mean?
I believe it's a restructuring of debt, then under the guidance of the bankruptcy court the company/corporation filing for bankruptcy is advised of payment obligations to the creditors? Don't quote me on this.

Do companies with assets in excess of liabilities file for bk?

If their assets lean heavily to the illiquid, and they are just having cashflow issues, I would think so. It would allow them to restructure their debts and eventually repay their obligations, then to move forward.
I would think that most re-organization bankruptcies would actually fall into this category, while most liquidation bankruptcies would not.

Yes they can. Assets does not equal liquidity to meet obligations.

Sandy Hook was suspicious as frick.
Now go cry in a corner.

Article from Rolling Stone written in 2017 attempting to tie Alex Jones to Donald Trump from an interview in 2015.
And this is the best you have.

Odd post.

quote:In your trailer park I imagine it's mostly people who ran up the CC or got busted on the Medicare/Medicaid scams, but in the business world this is a gradient. You could say "well he should have known his landlord was shady" or "he should have had an independent party assess the bridge he relied on". This is why people who pass judgment like you do are idiots.

An even more relevant question is how often have “legacy” news outlets and self-professed MSM “fact checkers” — that so criticize InfoWars and other alternative media platforms for being disseminators of “fake news” — been proven to be little more than propaganda outlets for our nation’s wholly corrupted national security and public health apparatus?
All is forgiven.

It wasn't a "haha you're poor" comment, but one that mocked a correlation between people with histories of poor financial decisions and how they may end up needing to file for bankruptcy. Not knocking trailers altogether, I've been toying with the idea of getting a bug-out trailer.
