Just because I ask questions that make you uncomfortable doesn't mean I'm not worth engaging. You're just promoting your preferred echo chamber.

Hey LsuR...

We got this. We will have tariffs. We will bring back the needed manufacturing that keeps us independent. We will have the border secured. We will complete the goals.

Not a damn thing you can do about it.

After that pork bill that everyone signed off on it did spike. But then it went down by early/mid 21. Look at the chart. Then Pedo Joe and his band of thieves went hog wild and more pork which spiked it again starting in mid 21.

Just because Trump caused inflation doesn't imply Biden didn't also cause later inflation.

The point is admitting that 2021 inflation was largely due to Trump's spending. That kept up for a few years.

The inflation we're feeling now is from Biden. He doubled down on bad policy by Trump and it made inflation much more of a long-term problem.

Happy to see jjdoc improving his source quality from the typical garbage he posts.

Good thing trump didn't put in effect all those tarrifs and chose to delay them or the forecast could come true....

None of the things you listed corrects your fake news thread title.

Inflation for January was +2.8%. Inflation for February was +2.8%.

Your claim that "inflation dropped" makes you look silly...

He's trying to distinguish himself from John Barron version 2.0, it appears.

We'll see how long it lasts and how long they can coexist

Inflation was caused by both Trump and Biden.

I've never argued Biden didn't continue Trump's inflation, but the MAGA crowd seems to be resisting admitting Trump also caused lots of the inflation.

That's not TDS.

I said the lockdowns and spending during Covid were stupid in real time, and defended Massie for agreeing (and becoming enemy of MAGA who said we had to pass it at the time)

In terms of politics the question is how Trump can avoid blame for it, especially with his very public and very.....idiosyncratic economic policy so far.

You are getting the opportunity to buy investments at a discounted price and you are complaining? Every bit it goes down just increases your retirement balance (assuming you keep adding money while it goes down).

What about the excess trillions printed in mid-late 2020? Would they have any affect on CPI moving into 2021?
Did Trump set up the shite we needed to fund and then print the money?

Serious question, as I don’t know.

I wouldn’t put it past you to blame him for funding shite he legally had to or some shite

He negotiated and authorized/supported trillions in Covid printing/spending in 2020, and complained we didn't spend even more.

Does that answer the question?

No, he and his admin actively negotiated the spending and he complained we didn't spend enough.

LINK

quote:

Trump signed off on the $2.3 trillion package from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Fla., days after he expressed displeasure with the spending outlined in the omnibus and complained that the coronavirus relief measure should include direct payments of $2,000 per person, up from $600.

This was the bill at the end of his term AFTER the CARES Act, mind you.

The dollar is worth less today than the day I was born to printing money, this is correct.

But they print money under dems and republicans.

What drive inflation under Biden was his immigration and energy policies,

These are two big things Trump and Biden differ on.

They don’t only print money under Trump.

This is why your claims are ignorant at best, full on tds at worst.
