American engineers are spoiled. Doubt they would find one for less than $100k
$85k or even $75k is a fair salary especially considering benefits. Americans think they are too good for that.
WTF? I guarantee you that at least 40% of IUs 2025 graduating class of engineers would have been interested in this job.

Trump and the Dems have completely betrayed the American people. Both sides have declared a war on working Americans and anyone trying to move up the socioeconomic ladder from the bottom.

In a low cost of living state, $85k would get loads of candidates.
$75k would get you a load of new graduates.

None of the 11 on site H1B at my last in office client made more than $80k a year, all but two of them with more than 10 years of experience.

Governor can't do anything about visas. That's Congress.
I stand by what I said. You are propagandized easily because you are an ignorant buffoon.
Oh and the listing still doesn't say entry level position.

Americans are fat with full bellies. Until things are trying, many ride the gravy train

We just need more platitudes and third worlders to turn this ship around.

Why even have a degree available if you're not willing to hire your own graduates.

That's a shocking indictment of their confidence in their own degrees.

Did you work for the university you went to after you graduated? Most grads probably don’t want to stay there any longer than they have to.

A mix of devs, a project manager, and a few testers. The one guy I actually liked hadn't gotten a raise since he started with the company ten years prior.

What's funny is that there is probably an American Indian kid with an IU degree that would take the job, but getting denied for an imported one. And yet his family and friends will still want to import more h1bs.
People who don't see the negatives of continuing the status quo are just naive fools and/or anti-American scum.

This is what I think is happening. Lots of right wingers dislike H1b for some reason and you guys are being propagandized nefariously with this stuff. If I were a lefty id throw this H1B at your face daily just to hate republicans.
Maybe if H1B wasnt taking away the last sliver of great paying jobs from the AMERICAN MIDDLE CLASS, and ripe with rampant fraud, this wouldn't be the case.

Amazing none of them left...
Anyone with 10 good years under their belt would have bolted in those conditions.

Wowww. Ignorance is bliss they say until you or your kids, family, and friends can’t get jobs after being laid off
