Biden has done nothing to affect today’s energy flow. His policies will reduce hydrocarbon production in the US in about a year. And obviously he made it tougher on the Canadians.

answer this, when did the advent and mass adoption of shale oil and hydraulic fracturing start? how did this affect the US's supply of crude oil? Did a president have anything whatsoever to do with this?

The US is energy independent from technological innovation from the private sector, ie hyrdraulic fracturing, which was innovated by George Mitchell and adopted and implemented by the US oil and gas industry and had zero to do with politics
