The fact that impeachment had, still has and will have zero Republican support assured that the American public at large will not seriously pay attention to or even casually follow this impeachment.
And that is by design according to the framers. Impeachment is a nuclear bomb of a death sentence that has to have bipartisan support to be treated seriously.
No bipartisan support= impeachment is a clown show nobody watches.

And that’s with a very liberal gf and a group text of 12 people(5 very liberal folks) that constantly discusses the days matters, politics and all.
It’s hasn’t come up 1 time. My gf gives absolutely negative fricks about it and she’d stab Trump if she could.
