I guess, in their case, impeached means something.

To history and the rest of us, nah.

Pretty ignorant to pretend like this isnt of historical significance, regardless of where you land on the political spectrum.

It is historical but I think history is going to be less kind to the “prosectors” than the defendant.

Pretty ignorant to think that anyone without TDS, which I say will be nearly 90%+ in 50 years, will read the two articles and wonder WTF were they thinking?

Then, even the slightest of research into this episode reveals the sham that it is.

This impeachment will be historically remembered as the one that lowered the bar for partisan impeachment (e.g. no crime alleged in articles)

It'll be the one that polarizes our political system to the point of being unworkable

Maybe so.
There have been so few impeachments through our history that all of them are significant, even if the driving factors behind them seem insignificant.

I hope to be alive in 50 years to see if you were right.

People will remember the unbridled LUST of the Democrats and how they were undone by it.

Yep. Most petty, pathetic and partisan act committed to date by the House of Representatives.

Not really.

It's simply an accusation.

How much have they accused Trump of?

The lack of due process, the passing off of third-hand information as first-hand fact, and the ultra biased basement interviews are particularly historic.

I can't wait for the movie. The scene where adam schiff makes up the phone conversation on the floor of the House is a historic moment none of us will want to miss.

The devil is in the details. Once you get past the impeached label, this is the first time in history that a president has been impeached over such shoddy circumstances. Definitely the first partisan impeachment.

What will history say?

We have had three Presidential impeachments since 1789, and all three were partisan witch hunts.
