The House Republicans sued the Obama Admin for providing $7 billion in subsidies to insurance companies. That money was not appropriated by congress. Johnathan Turley was the plaintiffs’ attorney. The executive branch (Obama administration) lost.
Last week Trump signed an EO basically telling his admin to follow the court decision. Democrats spun it as Trump is taking money from the poor and trying to sabotage Obamacare.
So now we are here. Congress has to appropriate in order make the subsidies legal.

I like how Trump and Republicans in Congress keep saying that Obamacare is failing on its own (which, I agree it is), but yet they keep throwing it lifelines. Makes no sense.

He needs to veto it and tell republicans to repeal Obamacare care like they promised the voters . He is not s career politician so it's no big deal if it cost him the election in 2020 . If it turns out that bad Republicans will get destroyed in the senate and house elections. They all need to do what they promised.

I call BS on this....think about it, this would simply let the marketplace and consumers and unfortunately the ER's to go back to before the ACA...we were all happy with our coverage and cost
