6 days??? What took them so long? You would think it would happen quicker than that given they planned for this ahead of time! I mean it isn't like they didn't know this was coming!

No chance he is pointing out the incredibly fast sequence of events as a warning to this country.

I'm sure he'll rally a lot of kiwis by posting on an LSU based internet site, idiot. You gun nuts keep crying wolf over muh gun rights and eventually people in this country will stop listening.

The thing is that other countries do not put so much stock into firearms like we do. Countries like NZ, Engalnd and others never really had a strong belief in the right to own firearms. We put it in the constitution. It’s a really difficult matter to ban guns here (or it’s supposed to be). Americans value independence from a very individual standpoint. But, you have dumbasses that want to rely soley on the likes of Hillary Clinton and Beto O’dumbfrick to carry the burden of protecting citizens and want to surrender their right to arms for some distorted and fabricated sense of security.

Posted this in the "Mega" thread. Interesting how merely possessing or sharing the shooting video is punishable by up to 14 years in prison.

Video questions whether the second mosque shooting wasn't completely staged.

It's all so neatly packaged, and like the government was in on the whole thing.

Most people think the bill was written before the attack.

No they don't. Conspiracy nuts do.

A watered down Patriot Act was written in 1995-96 after the OKC attack. The attack wasn't egregious enough that the necessary amount of Congressmen to sign off on the violation of rights could be passed. So, they just waited for a bigger attack to introduce the legislation with even more restrictions.

If you don't think legislation is pre-written for almost any circumstance, then I just have think you are naive. Our military has plans for nearly every scenario, including a zombie apocalypse. The think tanks and lobbyists that draft most of the legislation certainly have rough drafts prepared just waiting for the opportunity to introduce them.

Banning the tool instead of addressing the man behind it is the absolute stupidest thing you can do.

Life in the UK where they banned laws and now knife attachs are common.

Some people want to kill and some people need killing. People will always find a way to accomplish this.

We wouldn’t have fertilizer either which would mean we would probably all starve.

I understand your point, but most farmers now use ammonium sulfate instead of ammonium nitrate. AN can still be purchased at certain distributors but there is paperwork and documentation that is required.

You cannot make a bomb for AS and it works as well as AN as a fertilizer.

I am very happy we have a government MEANT to be slow

on the flip side, after 9/11, when terrorists crashed several planes and killed thousands of Americans after getting control of the cockpit by cleverly opening the door and walking in, it took us 122 days to even mandate locking them.

Im glad we're slow as well, that was a brilliant part of planning, but there has got to be a more reasonable middle ground for things like this.

It's an indication that country isn't infested with an all-powerful NRA, tyrannical gun lobbies and Wayne LaPierre sorts like America.

Nope, it's an indication that NZ is quite comfortable knowing/believing that the good ole' USA will jump in and save their a$$es in any major conflict or major threat to their national security. Without a comparable 2nd amendment, NZ citizens are helpless against actual tyranny. But that's what they want, so, it's their problem, not ours. Just my opinion.
