my wife's company got bought out by sales force, we cashed in big on her stock and now back on aetna so we have great health insurance! here in arkansas we have voter ID requirements. i'm sorry you're struggling to afford gas but that's really a personal problem.
i'd suggest you not rely on the government to fix your personal problems, you're only gonna be disappointed.

I support all the things you said we would would benefit from but if the GOP nuked the filibuster once the other side has the majority there would be an uncontrollable bloodbath of left sided legislation The Framers knew better

This is why NJF is likely correct (strategically) about not voting for Republicans in midterms. They need to be punished for betraying us even if it hurts us all.

It’s not protecting the filibuster. The real filibuster requires senators to stand on their feet and talk nonstop until something or someone breaks and either wins or makes a deal.
The bullshite talking filibuster, which is what they/we want to get rid of, requires nothing of them but to say out loud they filibuster and then go on to their vacation home.
It has made the senate the most do nothing and dysfunctional part of the government and the reason we can’t get anything passed.
It also provides the traitorous senators with an excuse why they can’t get stuff passed that the would vote against if forced and then they’d be primaried.

I truly think that several of these GOP Senators are so tied in with the European Union and the UK's power structure that they would never allow the US to stop being a vessel of UK & European elite.

We're missing our own opportunity to nuke the filibuster right now.
The Dims are going to retake the house in '26 and probably the Senate and Presidency in '28. They're 100% going to remove the filibuster and pass a series of legislation that prevents Republicans from ever gaining power again, and they'll add 5 seats to the SCOTUS (likely KBJ clones). Agenda 2030 will be right back on track.
Hope everyone has prepared. Am I the only one that can see this all coming from miles away?

I agree with your comment fully, BUT sooner or later the radical ragheads in IRAN were going to ruin things for everyone by nuking a neighboring metropolitan area like Tel Aviv, Rome, Madrid, etc. Which is why we can't have nice things.
