But was he truly exaggerating his wealth? In figuring out values they use the most optimal numbers to secure the most optimal outcomes for the market they are in. Using today’s data for years past cannot be looked upon as the same

I seriously doubt this happens to Trump if he’s represented by better lawyers. He’s resorting to amateurs and bottom of the barrel lawyers now and it’s showing.
He was guilty with this judge before it even started. You’re a moron.

If this were the case they would have prosecuted him a long time ago.

exaggerating how much cash he had on hand, misrepresenting the size of his properties (e.g. he claimed his Trump Tower Penthouse was about 30,000 sq. feet when it was about 10,000), under-reporting liabilities. Ultimately, this allowed him to get lower interest rates which lowered his costs and allowed him to pocket more money. Also, the company was found guilty in a criminal proceeding and the CFO went to prison after pleading guilty to 15 counts including grand larceny, falsifying business records, and yes, criminal tax fraud himself.

Banks have due diligence and are required to get appraisals done regardless of what a loan applicant states

guess I am out of the loop on this...
Did anyone go to jail for fabricating Russia Collusion?
I am just curious?
This is actually stuff taxpayers care about
Trump has a phone call with Zelensky...get's impeached!
2 years later, Biden is sending billions to Ukraine
...if you can't see the obvious you will never see

This is the dumbest shite I ever heard. Fraud requires someone to actually be defrauded. There was no one defrauded.

It's guilty pleas, judgements, and hundreds of millions in fines and penalties.
What's deranged is not to think that his whole career has been based on fraud.

CNN said that Trump exaggerated his wealth so he could make the Forbes 400

You don’t understand how the loan process for real estate has worked for decades in NYC.
The bankers involved all explained how this is standard process.
In addition, the court horrifically undervalued his assets to allow them to pursue this lawfare suit in the first place.
No one with even a rudimentary understanding of real estate took this as anything other than a witch hunt when it emerged how they were artificially undervaluing his properties such as mar a lago in what has been a red hot S FL market.

If you said this in court you would be making a confession.
It speaks to the corruption of the system that under-prosecutes white-collar crime.
