That revenue will be made up somewhere else, you can lay to that. Governments don’t just voluntarily give up income.

I always said that Mamdani’s actual governing of the city would not be the horror show that some predicted. The countervailing business interests in NYC are too strong. He wants to be viewed as successful in the end.
But “commie”, “socialist”, etc., are convenient bogeymen for this board and

That news comes out. He gets it handed to him on the “mUh arrest Bibi” front, and he comes out with a bone that looks shiny, but we all know it’s for one reason. To get more tax revenue. Yes it’s good to remove red tape, but when you have a crap ton it’s not some great feat. Especially when it’s done for some political repair.

Mamdani has literally been a member of the DSA for nearly a decade.
