I was born in 1991 and went to grade school in the 90’s and early 2000’s.

Which means I was educated by the same nihilists who just cheated their way to absolute power and can’t tell the truth about anything.

Only a small percentage of what I learned in school is true. Perhaps nothing is

The 13 colonies which eventually became the USA were founded between 1607 and 1733. You were taught that and it is true.

Here’s one example:

I was taught that the white man captured free people in Africa and forced them into slavery

- I believe this was false, they were already slaves in Africa and were purchased in on open air market

I’m also very doubtful that most of the heroes of history were actually heroes. Christopher Columbus for instance was a fricking dick

Good to hear you're not blindly believing what you were told, but there was probably some truth in some of the things you were taught.

Do your own research on the things you want to know more about, and vet the sources (books, websites, whatever they are).

You may want to find some old textbooks from the sixties (or older). I'll bet their take on the Founding Fathers and the start of the U.S. is pretty different.

Try not to judge people of the past with moral standards of today.

Progressives love to do that shite.

clearly you aren't well informed. Let's start with almost everything they taught you about the cause of the great depression.

The Native Americans were very peaceful and just wanted to show the white man how to grow corn.

I went to Catholic school in the 90's and early to mid 00's. I think from what I understand now alot of what was taught was pretty accurate back then. However, ehat happened in that time period was they were making history very boring. Focusing on memorizing dates and useless facts. Not enough focus on the stories and narratives and how it ties into the liberty we have/had.

Victors write history. Even if someone is being honest with you, it’s at least 80% bullshite.

Basically everything from ancient history can’t be fully trusted. You know who the victors are... to a degree since the victors will genocide a different victor centuries later.

Or how the October Crash immediately set off the Great Depression

How FDR New Deal was legal and didn’t get thrown out in many phases

That the USA didn’t fire on Japan first (they did)

I was taught about this document called the Constitution, which ceases to exist because there is no one in our country willing to uphold and enforce it.

I was taught free and fair elections were the bedrock of our republic.

There is way more to the Titanic sinking than what they told us.

It appears aliens are probably real based on recent information released.

The unfounded demonization And criminalization of marijuana, which we now use medicinally.

You should.

The last time you could have been taught US History with any reliability was the mid 90s.
