And this is why no one should take your propagandist bullshite seriously. You're a lying little dirtbag.

With Trump, he lost Miami-Dade. With his record as governor, he flipped it.

Displaced, aka Kasich nut lover, has been doing it since 2016.

Hates Trump, has always loved the GOPE and people like Romney.

I vote for Ls every election.

If all libertarians were like Dave Smith, Scott Horton, or Ron Paul, then sure. Hell even Spike Cohen.

I regularly see Dave Smith interact with progressive leftists with Libertarian Party Chair and pronouns in their bio who do nothing but spout the weirdest parts of the left’s narrative.

You shouldn't choose your ideology behind the personalities who support it.

You voted for Obama, twice. Now you're all in on Biden because he's the closest you could get to Obama a third time.

Nope.

DeSantis this week approved HB 637, which bars legacy automakers from offering a direct-to-consumer or online sales option if the company already sells vehicles in the state through dealership. That means companies with existing car lots — like Ford and General Motors — are included in the ban.

Someone explain why this is good

Other than helping state businesses, though dealerships are selling out to national corporations, so not as big of an argument, its supposed to protect the consumer.

Tesla does this, but won't be included in this ban I don't think, but their support is lacking as theres no dealership to help or hold accountable being the middle man support. As cars are getting crazy more technically advanced that support is needed.

If the plan was for the OEMs to create or take over dealership locales, then it would be different, but having all car customers with no one to deal with in person would really disrupt the known familiar status quo.

This is definitely a catch 22 for Conservatives, but the slippery slope potential needs to be thought thru too.

I’m not at all. I’m simply saying there are people in the L party who I do share ideologies with and there are some that I don’t. If the party were full of people I shared ideologies with at all levels I’d vote for them more often. My local libertarian candidate would have voted against the OP’s type law but also would have voted against restricting minors at drag shows. I realize that isn’t the little L position but I’m not voting for somebody that doesn’t see that as a harm.

So I voted for the dude who would probably vote for no direct auto sells.

Not claiming myself as right or virtuous here. I’m choosing between Douche bags and turd sandwiches.

Why does that matter? Does Ron lead from the front or is he status quo?
This is the point. He is status quo, Money and half-assed endorsements talks. The governors association and DeSantis with a meeting/appearace with Elon and bam Ron's in.

To be fair all around:

"Most election analysts in the U.S. habitually confuse the sound of money talking with the voice of the people."

With Obama's first reign and now his mouth-piece Biden finishing the deed.

Are we past the point of no return? Is the green new deal so embedded now in power and money it can't be undone?

Even with Trump how can it be undone? Through trade deals- undoing government auto bailouts owning the car industry? How can this be fixed? Will they ALLOW Trump in to undo it?

Obama tried with cash for clunkers. It failed. The only way I see this ATM is the other poster's comment.

This will fail in the end. They have no feasible plan or common sense for the transition to electric cars only. They can't even fix the potholes in the roads and the railroad systems.

So, are we forced to watch the insanity? It is not the wave of the future when they can't even pass a budget in DC and most major cities are homeless shitholes.

They are enriching themselves and don't GAF about the working class or anyone but their self interests.

Without doing research into this bill I’m pretty sure why the Florida House and Senate passed it and Ron signed it.

The auto dealerships paid the politicians to screw the consumer and make a ton of money for the dealership which they will share with the corrupt politicians.

I’m not talking about Ford and Chevy headquarters. But I am talking about Big Teds Chevy Dealership located next to the mall.

Wouldn’t this only be for new car sales? If you have a trade who’s gonna handle that? Dealerships would still have a role to play I would think.

Why would this even need to be implemented nationally?

Y'all should stick to stout's propaganda about "leading from the front."
