Because Oswald knew he was surveilled daily by the CIA and FBI, except for the day of Kennedy’s assassination. He knew he was set up to be a patsy. He feared Tippet.

There was nothing normal about that encounter in the short time since Kennedy’s shooting.

Marcello definitely made coy insinuations about involvement in both Kennedy assassinations but I haven't seen evidence beyond that. He could have been claiming credit after the fact but it's not like his fearsome reputation needed exaggeration.

Well Jack also has mob ties, so I think it’s more the mob that silenced Oswald.

There have been mob guys (dead now) who said on record that it was a joint CIA/Mob effort. According to them, the CIA and the Mob participated in joint efforts more than a few times.

JFK was trying to reign in the intelligence agencies, and he actually fired long-time CIA Director Allan Dulles. Dulles hated Kennedy, of course.

And, wouldn't you know it, LBJ assigned Kennedy-hater Dulles to the Warren Commission.

After going to Dealt plaza in person, I came away thinking I could have hit him with iron sights from that perch and that distance. Limo was traveling just above walking speed and was moving mostly directly away with only a slight lateral motion. He was only about 80 yards away when the top of his head blew off. If you hunt very much, you should be able to do that, too.

While Attorney General, Bobby Kennedy went after organized crime very hard. The mob thought they had an assurance that they would be left alone during JFK's Presidency. Daddy Kennedy allegedly had close ties to the mob, as he was a bit of a skank himself.

But, Bobby Kennedy either didn't know about any such "agreement," or else he simply ignored it.

I think he was the fall guy. He may have gotten a shot off but imo the head & neck shots came from the actual assassin from the Dal-Tex building.

His name was Jack Rubenstein.

There are a lot of powerful groups that wanted him dead and had the means to do it.

Which of those groups actually did it I don’t know for sure but I don’t believe Oswald acted alone.

Don't know. Used to think it was a conspiracy. Watched this and I'm not sure, but I'm sure this thread will clear things up with all the experts. I've been to Dealy Plaza and did the tour of the building. Bit eery and unsettling, for sure. I don't know. Still lean conspiracy since Ruby was killed and JFK's brain and other evidence have gone missing. But I don't know.

Other than the bullet from his rifle and the direct testimony from Marina Oswald that her husband told her he did it?

Very little…

Likely. When I was much younger and knew nothing about politics, I thought he killed Oswald because he was mad at him for killing JFK.

Plenty of people believe there were 2 shooters but that was an echo coming from the building walls he was shooting from. I'm not 100% sure he wasn't hired but I think it's similar to the MLK, Trump or Kirk shootings. A deranged person taking a shot at a famous person a lot of people have a grudge against including themselves.

Jack Ruby is the interesting part of it. What motive did he have to kill Oswald unless he was angry or broken hearted over JFK. Oswald was caught and going to be dealt with already.

Marcello had some legitimate businesses. My parents were longtime friends with a business partner of Marcello. They had this big spread in Lacombe where they would host these friendly gatherings. Marcello would come. I was only about 6 years old and I called him Uncle Carlos. I had no idea who he was until many years later.

We all know what a crooked sorry son of a bitch Lyndon Johnson was. We know he wasn't a fan of the Kennedys he was a fan of Lyndon Johnson.

He had motive. Now did he? I wouldn;t be shocked.

Mosca’s in Westwego.
Joe Marcello had Emwood Plantation and then Lenfant's.
