Who's they? SCOTUS or the GOP in Congress? Should the latter have told the former to uphold Roe?

Republicans at every level of government need to abandon everything regarding abortions, and the Republican voters need to stop acting like stuff like that was a victory. I remember victory laps being run all over the place from Republicans, then we nearly lost the House.

I’ve been saying the same thing for years.

Their role is to be the Washington Generals to the Democrats Harlem Globetrotters.

It’s all theater.

2022 should have convinced you with Lyndsey introducing a national abortion ban legislation and Cocaine Mitch telling us "we did not put the best" up for election. Or, you could go back to 2018 with Ryan causing the House to flip.

Define winning. If they wanted to win easily then Trump wouldn’t be the nominee. There are other conservatives who poll much better against Biden.

Get in office to collect the check and benefits. That's all it is now.

Running for election has become lucrative. You can make a great living and never have to win, if you can raise the funds.

If they fought like the Pedocrats do - to win by any means necessary things would be different.

The GOP from about 2005-present has no desire to be in power. They learned long ago that they can make plenty of money as a lobbyist after the gig whether they're actually the party in power or not.

All they have to do is go on Hannity and bitch, or get on TV in the house/senate chambers and bitch, and that's really about it.

When you don't have power, you don't have the burden of having to actually do anything.

So should the GOP have told SCOTUS to uphold Roe?

When they hit me up for money I always say the same thing now days:
When you (republicans) stop looking and acting just like them (dems) get back to me. Until then, no money for your organization.

look at these headlines. we are done put a fork in it. I don't think even Lara Trump can manage the balance of abortion with the burbia Karen's.

quote:

Remember what happened in Ohio, a deeply red state. The abortion rights amendment won easily, 57-43.

Breaking — Kari Lake issues response to Arizona abortion ruling.

Breaking — Arizona Supreme Court rules 1864 law banning all abortions is still in force.

Abortion is now illegal in Arizona.

Horrible news for Trump and republicans. Arizona women will now turn out by the millions to vote for Constitutional Amendment for Abortion and Joe Biden.

Republican Mark Brnovich is to blame for today’s ruling in Arizona.

Has ISIS-K already made it across the border.

Kristi Noem — Trump made the right call with abortion stance
.

congrats establishment lovers & neocons you won.

the Rs are acting like nuns on abortion when they could care less to give Biden/Newsom/Gretchen a win.

What gets me is Republicans go on and on about the Welfare State and spending etc yet they seem to have no real urgency with all the Illegal Immigrants coming across and they want to ban abortion which is the only thing keeping his country from being an even bigger Welfare/Entitlement State than it already is. Just a bunch of fools.

Most of your post is pretty accurate but that bold part is just stupid. You jumped the shark with that statement.

does everyone now see why the establishment/democrats pushed DeSantis/Nikki Haley? No GOP establishment candidate has a chance in WI, MI, PA. They generally have to fight like all get out for Ohio.

The chamber of commerce has chosen the President for 50 years.

They don't care whether the R or D they choose wins or looses because they are one in the same.

Notice the McConnell caucus of republicans WANT amnesty, they want the great replacement theory as reality. The GOP despises listless vessel deplorables. They adore the open border like the one they voted for-Biden/Obama.

A law should be passed requiring the Republicans in Congress to be called the Washington Generals in the Congressional Record.

I believe they are morally correct but they don't appreciate that they are outnumbered and outgunned and need to continue to play this guerilla style like they have for the past 50 years.

It's slow but it is working.
