They have their own flag and waive it. Anyone standing near the flag.
They are fully funded and have members flown and bussed in for events.

I posted this in a similar thread on the OT yesterday, hope this helps…
Antifa traces it roots to the German communist party in the early 1930s Weimar Republic. At that time street violence between various left and right political parties was common. The two largest parties were the Communist on the left and Nazis on the right. To fight their street battles the Nazis had the SA. Likewise, to fight their street battles the Communists had Antifa.
From its founding 90 years ago, Antifa has been a paramilitary organization of Communists.

Proving something isn't real is generally harder. To prove something is real, you often just need one clear, verifiable piece of evidence—say, a fossil for a dinosaur or a photo for a UFO sighting. To prove something isn't real, you must rule out every possible instance of its existence, which can be nearly impossible due to the vastness of the universe or the limits of current technology. For example, proving unicorns don't exist requires checking every corner of the Earth (and beyond) where they could hypothetically be, while proving they do exist only takes one undeniable unicorn sighting. Absence of evidence isn't the same as evidence of absence, which makes disproving trickier.
The onus is on you. You can do it! (This is from Grok BTW)

quote:Nope. It’s impossible to prove the absence of something like that. Go ahead and try. Prove that there is no such thing as a Trump brigade dedicated to making Trump a dictator. It’s a ridiculous assertion that is obviously false, but try to prove it isn’t so. It’s impossible.
How about your acquaintance prove they are not. I know it's hard to prove something is not there than to prove it is
The person making the assertion bears the burden of proof. The OP asserts there is an organization called antifa (There is), and his acquaintance says there isn’t. The OP has to prove it if he wants to carry the point. Now, it would be reasonable to blow it off if it’s super obvious. Like, I’m not going to prove that the United States exists to someone who denies it.
Reading between the lines, the OP’s foil is not saying there is no such thing as antifa; he is saying “it’s an idea, not an organization”. That’s a foolish point, because there is loads of evidence that it is organized and funded. If his liberal acquaintance wants to keep arguing in the face of that let him. You’ll never convince him.
In a way, he is right. Turning Point USA is an incorporated non-profit organization. You can see documented proof of its existence as an organization. Maybe there is no such organizing documents for antifa. So what? The same can be said for Proud Boys and yet they were declared terrorists, infiltrated by the government, and thankfully ended.

Anyone who would argue that Antifa isn’t real isn’t worth having an argument with.

Faulty/dishonest premise.
The important point/question centers around if ANTIFA is a single organization or a loose connection of multiple local organizations based around similar ideas.

Not your burden.

just show them this website Rose City Antifa
If it is only an idea why is there a website for this group.
Seattle seems happy by this:

Rose City Antifa (RCA) was founded in Portland, Oregon in October of 2007. RCA was formed after a coalition of local people and organizations formed the 'Ad-Hoc Coalition Against Racism and Fascism' in order to shut down a neo-Nazi skinhead festival called Hammerfest. RCA continues the work of that Ad-Hoc Coalition and countless others who have worked to oppose racial prejudice, bigotry and fascism in our communities in Portland, Oregon, and the Pacific Northwest more broadly.
Rose City Antifa opposes fascist organizing through direct action, education, and through solidarity with leftist spaces, activists, and organizations.
Seattle seems happy by this:
quote:
The Center Square) – President Donald Trump’s Wednesday night announcement on social media that he is designating Antifa a “major terrorist organization” is welcome news to Seattle Police Officers Guild President Mike Solan.
Solan and fellow Seattle police officers have endured years of violent protests – often involving Antifa – that have left many SPD officers battered and bruised.
Antifa is a decentralized organization that claims to oppose fascism. Adherents have been active in Washington state, particularly in urban areas like Seattle, which is known as a hub for left-wing activism.
“These people are vile, and they should be treated as such,” Solan told The Center Square on Thursday. “They should be held accountable. So, I'm so glad that they're finally going after the resources of the people who are propping up these Antifa thugs with money, assets, influence, and legal cover. Let's go after it all.”
