None of the players are willing to meet with him to have a group round table discussions to talk racial injustice affecting the black community but he’s unwilling to do anything about it either .

Because they know it doesn’t exist, if they weren’t responsible for an exponential disproportionality of criminal acts they wouldn’t feel
that way about the police.

These players simply don't have the intellect for a discussion.

What is this black community and where is it located? You sound like a plantation owner.

Honest question: has an invitation actually been extended?

Add Spike Lee to that list. Said he wouldn't meet with Trump if he asked and Lee said he doesn't even mention Trump by name. They don't want to listen to any solutions. That doesn't get them the headlines than just plain bitching does. I'm quickly losing patience with blacks of that demeanor.

How many unarmed white men were killed by police last year? How many unarmed hispanic men were killed by police last year? How many unarmed black men? Which cases were justified? Which weren't?

If people aren't honest about the numbers, and the actual issues at play, and the ones that go beyond "white people are racist"... and instead want to protest "America", then they aren't making anywhere close to a salient point. If you care about tragedy happening to black Americans, and the "systematic" forces at play, then why aren't you protesting Rham Emanuel and the Democratic politicians whose policies actively make Chicago a war zone? If you can't resolve something as simple as that, then you're a fool.

The saddest part of this dialogue is that the true cases of police brutality and tragedy, like the story of Jordan Edwards, get lost in the fray. frick protests over Alton Sterling. Where were those people over Jordan Edwards?

I’m no longer paying attention to any of this anthem BS. I’m watching football.

I don’t need everything in my life politicized. And shame on everyone - kneelers and those angry with them - for attempting to ruin football with your bullshite.

“Affecting the black community” is a phrase used by the victim mentality seeking blm and sjw crowd. So if you have a problem with it, you might want to get with them.

The whole Eagles team declined an invite, so screw them.

That's because everyone that meets personally with Trump ends up liking him. They can't have that shite.

Basically, they are genetic attention whores. Special rules had to be made for them, just to stop them from doing a barrage of dance moves after every play. They are soooo transparent.

Good for you!

But you are displaying Battered-Wife Syndrome. Just shut up after I hit you. Kneelers are the aggressors. It is rational for those who disagree to be angry.

And oh mighty moderate, who has stopped you from watching unpatriotic police-hating racist from playing football?

Until they stop disrespecting what I hold dear, I will boycott.

But since you “don’t need everything in my life politicized”, why are you supporting those who politicized football (the BLM kneelers) by paying them by watching them.

Record College games on Saturday and watch them on Sunday and Monday.

If the black players wanted to do something meaningful for “their” community, instead of taking a knee they could offer to appear in half time clips where they track down deadbeat dads from their old neighborhoods and tell them real men stick around for their kids.

Likewise they could spend camera time with young ladies and explain how having/not having a dad in their lives affected them and that real women don’t start their sons off without committed fathers.

I would def watch that show and might even eventually start watching the NFL again.

additionally..

none of them did shite but run their mouths.

The few "charitible" actions they will attempt to pepper you with over the season were more than likely NFL brass driven.

Not player driven.

The left sadly thinks all that is required is protesting and running their mouths.... they don't get the whole hard work part.

Yes. Before the G6 summit he said it loud and clear on live television.
