Wouldn’t the government already have those documents?
Yes, they are all sitting in a warehouse. You can FOIA immigration paperwork. I've gotten documents for clients back from the 1960's.
Omar clearly committed marriage fraud marrying her brother, but hope there is more to this than "looking for immigration paperwork" because that doesn't pass the smell test.
ETA: The fact that a federal judge signed off on the warrant makes me think there is more to it, and the "immigration paperwork" line is just bad reporting.

IRS should do a look see, as well. Anyone's wealth that changes that drastically in 12 months needs looking into. Has she filed for personal bankruptcy because that drastic a loss would indicate some serious issues.
