Outside my immediate family - I have always loved LSU football above all else. Saw my first game in late 40s when my older brother was there --> LSU v NC = with YA Tittle vs "Choo Choo" Justice. Still a monumental moment in my life.

I was there from '56-'60 --- still have the program from the '59 LSU-Ol Miss Halloween game. I remember finding a place in St. Louis where I could listen tot he games on radio - If I parked on the railroad tracks, I could pick uo a station out of Shreveport to get a signal strong enough to hear. Fortunately only a few trains came thru on Saturday night.

Now - for the first time in my life, I am done with them. Last year was a miracle - And now it will remain as my last memory of the thing I used to love. I tolerate nothing that bends a knee to the evil idiocy going on in America today.

It feels like burying a favorite grandchild.
