So it's a Turkish cultural center that helps people assimilate to US culture with other Turks.

Bro if you think ethnic-based community centers help people assimilate to American culture I've got some real estate for you.

We can debate their merit, but they're intended to preserve and promote the culture of the nation of origin. If I move to Turkey and start going to the American club I'm not there to learn how to become truly Turkish, I'm there to watch American sports and hang out with Americans and make American connections.

Which, by the way, is fine as a concept. The question is whether it's anything we really want or need in America.

I assume then, since its just a building, that you have no problem going to vote in neither a prison nor Mar-a-Lago?

The horror. You have to go into a building to vote.

The uproar if it was a synagogue would be biblical.

Voters that don’t feel safe are being disenfranchised.

Just like the appearance of ICE near a polling booth would get your panties into a total panic.

They should change it to “Constantinople” just to screw with people.

I don't see the issue

There are usually a handful of early voting options and you can use any of them. But on ED, no, just the assigned location (as far as I know).

Right. Hell I'd love to vote at Mar-a-Lago but I live in Texas

My polling location is in a church. If that doesn't bother you, then this shouldn't either.

In Texas there are usually multiple locations where you can cast your vote...

I don't know how it works in Georgia
