It's being reported Venezuela is claiming ownership of some land currently within the borders of Guyana. Venezuela claims the borders of Guyana are null and void and the disputed land is actually part of Venezuela. The disputed land was awarded to Guyana in an arbitration agreement in 1899 but Venezuela changed their mind in the 1960's and now claim the land should be conceded back to Venezuela. Venezuela has a lot of CCP and Cuban support, that support includes military hardware and training, Guyana doesn't have a military force to speak of......I wonder what the illegitimate regime will do when their CCP supported friends in Venezuela bust a move on Guyana. I could see the CCP encouraging Venezuela to make this move just to light a fire in the backyard of the US.

Of course we would. If I had to guess we'd support both sides simultaneously.

ding! ding! ding!!!

an assessment of our country’s recent past shows if there’s a war brooding on this planet, that our malevolent CIA is likely not just involved, but almost assuredly playing both sides of it for their own power gain

Your gif is appropriate but we know how this shite works......

If there is any part of the globe where the US should be throwing down the gauntlet against the CCP it's in Central and South America.

If cash can be laundered or otherwise pad the bank accounts of our government bureaucrats then the USA will be there. End of story.

That’s a war that will last about 15 minutes.

Guyana will be producing 500,000 bpd of oil by end of Q1 2024. Will likely pass 1,000,000+ bpd in the next two years. The US isn't going to allow a combination of unstable oil markets AND military action on it's front door step without getting involved.

We will send billions to aid the “refugees” and then that will be another excuse to leave the border open

I would guess that if there was real concern we would send a squadron of F 16s to Trinidad and tell Maduro to frick off along with a destroyer and frigates.

Plus the French would also join in . Big French training base in French Guiana not far away.....plus the French help us with security in the Caribbean due to Guadeloupe and Martinique being French Departments (states).

Exxon is a big player in that disputed region. I would imagine we are getting involved in some form, probably with us convincing Brazil to do the heavy fighting.

Will there be money to be made by our MIC and grifting politicians? Well, there’s your answer.

We probably already are via CIA. Playing on one of the sides or both sides; no telling and who knows. I’m sure though it’s for the good for America. In today’s world, CIA has their slimy hands all over the word conflicts.
